5.0 out of 5 stars Who says American Dragon Ball Z sux?
well, if u are like me and u relize that DBZ has been hurt due to saban's stupidty and censorship , but i think that Funimation is doing a great job of dubbing these episodes the only thing i dont think they can do is find a good King Kai or Krillin voice [that and waiting for the episodes on VHS that take way too long]

3.0 out of 5 stars a boring way to start a long battle
Hi I just want to say this tape is somewhat boring they have to get the saga started so that's this tape if your collecting the tapes buy it if your not collecting and just buying the good one don't bother buying it.

Also always get uncut if you can afford it sure it's way goryer and the language can get roughf but cut has stuff cut out . I was waching a tape that...

5.0 out of 5 stars Frieza the cowboy, YEEEEHAAA!, June 18, 2000
This review is from: Dragonball Z - Frieza Transformation (Uncut) [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Oh WOW! This is my favorite Frieza volume. I was sooo shocked since I saw the edited ep's first when I saw the gory Krillan and Frieza scene. It made my heart stop with how sad and terrified poor little Krillan was, and still it amazed me how I keep on loving how cocky and mean Frieza is. I can say I've heard how some of the subbed voices sounded, and I personally love the english ones better, and hey, I think King Kai sounded okay in both versions, but I'm not that picky until it comes to taking out parts they did in this volume! This is definantly one to get, since they practically cut out a whole entire episode! It's worth every penny, and you people out there who watch the dub and complain about it, find something better to do, and stop flaming out good voice actors, K? Hope this is a good review, I can say I love this video, and every Frieza volume I have and have seen so far. It's uncut sub fans, so what's all the complaining about? Chaio!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome video, September 19, 2002
Frieza: Transformation is a great DBZ video, Frieza's second form is my personal favorite because he looks so much like his awesome father, King Cold. The flashback scene was great with King Vegeta, The destruction of the Saiyans, and Zarbon. I was very surprised when Zarbon disagreed with Frieza's plan to destroy the Saiyans, maybe he had a heart after all.......
Frieza's voice finally became more menacing, and some of the scenes were hilarious, Frieza telling Krillin "I'm going to eat you!" Krillin cutting off Frieza's tail, Vegeta trying to run away like the little coward I've always known he was, it was great!
Other than Piccolo jumping up and down like an idiot, yelling "I feel great! I feel Great! Yes! Yes!" the video was very well done.

5.0 out of 5 stars Frieza's transforming was WICKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, April 29, 2002

This review is from: Dragonball Z - Frieza Transformation (Uncut) [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I liked that video. It was how Frieza has the power to transform.
Frieza shattered his armor, which it wasn't really his real transformation, but now I realized that Frieza's transformation WAS real! Look! His tail, his bull horns, his arms, his legs, his
body, his face (his head almost looked similar to his father's), and EVERYTHING'S huge!!!!!!!!! Frieza did gore Krillin by spearing through his stomach with one of his horns (OUCH!). Gohan got mad, and man, was he shootin'! I never thought that this episode would NEVER end! Krillin survived, and he sliced off his tail with a lot of Destructo-Disks! (There's a reason
they did it the anime way!) Then, it was Piccolo VS. Frieza. Frieza didn't transform in his third form yet. This video only
had Episodes 64, 65 and 66 (get me the box set of those Frieza Saga Videos if you know what I mean). The 67th episode is where Frieza changes into his third form (see Frieza-Revealed). Boy, Piccolo and Frieza were doing good fighting stunts on each other!

5.0 out of 5 stars "Piccolo Vs. Frieza, A Super-Awesome Fight!", November 21, 2001
By A Customer
This is one of the best battles in the history of DBZ! Piccolo merges with Nail and becomes a Super Namek! Piccolo became a Super Namek twice in DBZ, once when he fuses with Nail and the other when he fuses with Kame. Anyway, this video picks up where THE SUMMONING left off, Frieza continues his transformation. When it is done, he looks a lot like his father, King Cold, and is much taller than Piccolo or Vegeta. Frieza gains the upper hand for a while but then Piccolo shows off his new powers and is pounding Frieza with incredible ease! The first episode on this tape is really funny because Krillin moons Frieza and says "Here's your target, Frieza!" That was so funny! Frieza lies about his power level, it is not 1,000,000, it's somewhere close, though. Like I always say, I can't wait until Frieza's brother, Cooler, makes an appearance. I know Cooler never appears in the episodes, just two of the DBZ movies: 5 and 6. But I can't wait until movie 5 comes out because I have been waiting for it for a long time! When I first heard about Cooler I studied "Tree of Might" and thought the blob guy in the metal armor was Cooler (silly isn't it) and then I finally saw him, Cooler looks a lot better than Frieza or King Cold, and he's a lot stronger than Frieza, but definately not Majin Buu or Cell. I looked all around for DBZ Movie #5 but could never find it, and finally I found out why, it hadn't been released yet! I found that out when I purchased Lord Slug, and upon learning that Lord Slug was movie #4, I realized that it was only a matter of time before the Cooler video was released, I can't wait! I.F. Labs is also releasing four new DBZ 9" action figures to honor the DBZ movies: Battle Damaged Piccolo, Battle Damaged SS Goku, Lord Slug, and Cooler!

5.0 out of 5 stars Piccolo and Frieza really deliver, August 17, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Dragonball Z - Frieza Transformation (Uncut) [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This tape is great. Piccolo and Frieza really deliver the action as they battle each other on Namek. If you have enough money you should buy the Uncut version. But if not, the edited version is still good!

5.0 out of 5 stars frieza's power level is 700,000, August 14, 1999
By A Customer
well, here's another 20 bucks I wasted. I wish they'd find those old voices and shove them into these new episodes. I also don't understand why the old episodes music isn't there. I mean its still funamation, but I don't really reccomend these tapes. wait till its on tv.
