5.0 out of 5 stars Funny!, November 2, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Dragonball Z: An Unauthorized Guide (Mass Market Paperback)
From my understanding, the point of this book is to entertain young readers who are interested in Dragonball Z. I think the book accomplishes this very well. Although the book doesn't go into depth about the characters, it is very amusing. I don't think this is the type of book that has to go into depth about the characters because it is not supposed to be an information manual. The book is extremely funny and great for kids of all ages!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fun Book for All Ages!, November 2, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Dragonball Z: An Unauthorized Guide (Mass Market Paperback)
I read this book seeking to learn more about Dragonball Z and found it both entertaining and informative. There's lots of information for everyone and the book is funny without writing down to kids, but with humor that can be enjoyed by readers of any age. There's plenty of facts to satisfy a general reader and still make the show interesting enough to watch. I suspect the few people who are complaining about this book are hard-core fanatics of the show as seen in Japan and expect everyone else to only want to watch that version. They don't seem to realize that most people - especially kids - are happy to watch the US version. Get a life people!! This book was tons of fun. Lighten up and enjoy this very entertaining volume!

5.0 out of 5 stars Dragonball Z is so cool!, July 30, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Dragonball Z: An Unauthorized Guide (Mass Market Paperback)
I bought this book as soon as I saw it on the shelves for my 10 year old boy Nick. "I like this book because Dragonball Z is cool and the book is about Dragonball Z and my friend Tony wants to borrow it!" (In Nick's own words.) The night Nick recieved the book, he read the entire thing!
