4.0 out of 5 stars Dragon Ball Z on XBOX and I wander if I can play this game on my XBOX 360
I never even knew this was the only Dragon Ball Z game for the XBOX until I found out last week. Since I have an XBOX 360, I heard it's backwords compatible and this may be a good game to play for the XBOX 360. Atari should keep making DBZ games for the XBOX because it would be alot better if they did so Microsoft could be happy. Anyway so far this is one of the best(and...

I have to say one thing before I go on with this review: I like DBZ. The Budokai games are fun, and the show was good until the Buu series. Budokai 2 is the best DBZ game I've ever played, and I've played quite a few. But this game SUCKS. There is no "fun" aspect. My neighbor borrowed it from another neighbor, and we played, because it sounded fun. It's DBZ, but there's...

5.0 out of 5 stars A 23 year old Dragon Ball Z fan!!!!, September 3, 2005

I had only seen one Dragon Ball Z movie (Dead Zone*****) and the show a couple of times before I rented this game It was soo good I rented it twice and bought it very soon after. It is good if you dont know much about the show like I didn't because it takes you through many sagas but not all I feel the game should have been way longer but It was very fun for my Nephew and I to play I only wish there was Tournament play or some kind of battle mode but upon beating the game you do get a choice of characters to play with like Tien, Krillin, Yamcha, Bardock, Broly and all different kinds of Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta Trunks and Gohan's. This game is soo much fun I can't wait to own it !!!!! Also after playing the game I went out and bought DBZ Broly ***** and Dragon Ball Piccolo Jr. Saga part.1 ***** and rented a bunch of Dragon Ball GT DVDs which was also very good Also a whole slew of movies since.

5.0 out of 5 stars A really great game, but a little things wrong., April 29, 2005

This is a really great game, if your you know nothing about dbz its ok this game has clips about the cartoon series. The first adventure game for the consules. Ok its time to talk about the flaws. 1. Invisible walls. I would like to be able to walk around and go anywere. 2. the camera range. You can't cantrol the camera which is a drag because if an enemy goes out of camera range you have to get closer to se him. And 3. I think you should have gone through the Buu segas too, because this is DBZ segas. anyways this is a great game can't wait for the second game.

5.0 out of 5 stars Whats Going On!!, January 4, 2010

Why arn't Dragonball games like this?
All DBZ games are fighting your opponent and thats it.
This game lets you walk around the feilds! You see people coming after you and attacking you! You have to fight back, this is much more real and this is the game for a real DBZ fan because this gets you into it, not just some arcade game.
FUNimation or whoever PLEASE do your DBZ games like this, thank you.

5.0 out of 5 stars VERY FUN!!!!!!!!!!, September 23, 2007
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Dragonball Z Sagas (Video Game)
I enjoyed this game alot. Now 4 some reason alot of reviewers here have been TRASHING this game with negative ratings. This is not an RPG game. I personally wasnt into the other Dragon Ball Z games because they were all Street Fighter type games. I enjoy fighting games but i enjoy an action adventure beat em up game even more cause they last longer. This is a great game. Now you wont find any ground breaking graphics here but i enjoy the overall animation and character design alot and i like the cell type shading the game has added in. Nice clips from the TV show are also thrown in. You either start with 1 player or 2 and theres an objective in each stage. Once you get to the end of the stage you fight a boss like Raditz, Napp etc. Now the games story takes place in the Saiyan saga so it starts with Raditz arriving on earth, kidnapping Gohan, and killing Goku. Its up to the Z fighter gang to get the 7 Dragon Balls to wish Goku back to life before the other 2 Saiyan's Vegeta and Nappa arrive. This game is 2 players and i kinda wish i had someone to join me in the fun.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Fun Game, July 26, 2007
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Dragonball Z Sagas (Video Game)
A long time DBZ fan am I. I own this game and have beaten it into submission.

While it's a very fun game and probably the best DBZ game to date, it's a short game if you quick to pick up the games mechanics. The fighting does get repetative, but doesn't fully take away from the replay value. It's not a game played once and put on the shelf to collect dust by any means.

The graphics are good for the time in which it was released; however, the camera angles do get in the way sometimes. If you playing in two-player-mode, get ready for a little more frustration. The game does up the difficulty a bit with two people playing, but it also forces both players to stay in a close proximity. Not so fun when teamed up with the camera angles issue. Over a short period of time the two players should be able to get past this nuisance and simply enjoy the very fun animation and game play.

Great for all ages!!! If it wasn't for those minor issues I would have given a full 5 stars... and I can't seem to give it 4.5 stars so 4 it is!

I'm not sure why the price went up... I spent $15.00 on this game for my sons who both play it ages 9 and 18. For any db fan, they'll love it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Hoo boy, that is a BAD stench coming from here., July 29, 2006

It's DBZ, but there's free-roam, and co-op. Nothing bad, right? Wrong. You run around and beat things up. That's where the fun starts, and where it ends. There are six playable characters, too bad there's only one, two differences between that person, and all the others. You run, fight, fly, fight, blow up rocks trying to find DBZ coins, fight, destroy the disc knowing that you aren't going to get more than a dollar for it, you cry over $20 lost. Why is it that the biggest hyped games aren't nearly as good as they were cracked up to be? Pariah, Prey, MK: Shaolin Monks, Tomb Raider: Legend, etc. etc.

Gameplay: 1/10 As I explained in the above paragraph, you run, fly, and fight. The try to keep the gameplay up by adding these coins, Which are just out of flying reach. You can blow up mountains, but you can't fly 6 inches higher? The flying is really just hovering there, with little flames coming off of your feet. There really isn't much to talk about here, because there isn't much else that I haven't explained.

Sound: 1/10 Could they try to make more annoying sounds and music? Well, I suppose they could use the Goldeneye: Rogue Agent DS music.

Graphics: 1/10 This game has worse graphics than MK: Deception's Konquest mode, which is just another way to get koins. I'm not kidding. Okay, how about this: the graphics are worse than the Cat in the Hat game.

Value: 0/100 The only reason you'd actually pay $[...] for this game is if you are 6 years old, mentally deranged, or you're a masochist. I wouldn't take the game unless you paid me $[...] or more in cash.

Overall: Don't even touch this game. Don't even look in your bargain bin for it, it's THE WORST game I've played, and trust me, I've played a lot.
