Product Description

This fantastic Dragonfly R/C Helicopter is so much fun to fly! It measures a whopping 17? from nose to tail rotor, stands 6? tall and is 3.5? wide. The main rotor is a massive 19? long. The Dragonfly is made of durable molded plastic and was designed with beginners in mind to help kids to learn how to fly R/C helicopters.

The helicopter is fully assembled and ready to fly right out of the box and the dual handheld joystick controls the helicopters every move. The throttle stick on the left controls the speed of the main rotor: Increase the rotor speed and the chopper rises up. Decrease the rotor speed and the helicopter descends. The throttle stick on the right controls the tail rotor speed: Increase the speed and the chopper yaws to the left. Decrease the speed and the nose yaws to the right. Just like the real thing!

The Dragonfly R/C Helicopter flies within a 150 square foot area and kids will have hours of fun developing their flying skills. A rechargeable battery pack is included. Transmitter requires 8 ?AA? batteries, not included. Ages 12+

Unlike the previous reviewers I have had no such problems with breakage. I have, however come close to landing the machine on the roof of my house. Caution must be taken to ensure that the air is dead calm when flying this machine. ANY wind will cause a problem. Also, it does take a fair amount of practice to master the controls. It is a good 1st step but definetly not for young children. I've had to duck more than once when flying it. I have always made certain to land it on grass and have had many landings without damage.

My husband really likes the heli. Though I must say a piece did break off with in a day of getting it. So it is a little too fragile for my taste. It is fun to watch the dogs run around barking at it. Only other issue I have is that no matter what adjustments you make, it always spins. The instructions say you can adjust to straighten it out. Spins in one directions no matter the setting.

First 10 minutes the chopper crashed and now the tail rotor doesn't work. Better to buy two of these and use on for spare parts, since to order spare parts will cost too much in shipping!
