These poems are fun, and at the same time they're moving and thoughtful. The poet weaves an appreciation of American pop culture together with an understanding for the older cultures of both Europe and Asia. Topics include skateboarding, Vietnam, a rap by an Arthurian knight, Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos, ethnic confusion, rock'n'roll and the King Tut exhibit, and more. Get this book; read these poems.
