About the Author

Margaret Weis is the cocreator of the Dragonlance world. She has authored or coauthored fifteen books set in the Dragonlance world, several of which were New York Times bestsellers. Weis lives in Wisconsin.

Tracy Hickman is the coauthor of fifteen Dragonlance novels, as well as other series such as Darksword and the Death Gate Cycle. He has designed settings, including Starshield, and is the author of the novel The Immortals. Hickman lives in Utah.

The previous reviewer has this box set mixed up with another book. This box set contains 3 Dragonlance books from the legends Trilogy, which takes place after the Dragonlance Chronicles. Its the second trilogy in the Dragonlance series of books. It contains the books: Time of the Twins, War of the Twins, and Test of the Twins. These were excellent books but i recommend you read the Dragonlance Chronicles before you read these as they will give you a better understanding of the characters.

The Legends Trilogy- the Time of The Twins, the War of the Twins, and Test of the Twins, is the sequel to The Chronicles Trilogy- Dragons of Autumn Twilight, Dragons of Winter Night, and Dragons of Spring Dawning, which brings to life the ultimate battle between Good and Evil in the magical World of Krynn. The books are so incredibly well written that the reader feels that they have been transported to another plane of existence and are actually present among the characters, seeing what they see, feeling what they feel, sensing what they sense. The authors Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman have truly outdone themselves and have presented us with a masterpiece of literature the likes of which we have seen only in JRR Tolkien's work and RA Salvatore's The Dark Elf and Icewind Dale trilogies. Duty, honor, bravery, magic, dragons and heroes are all about. One should seriously start thinking about maybe turning them into movies!

Truly, this is a book that you must read! I am a devoted Dragonlance fan, and this is my favorite of the many series. It really revolves around character development and development of the setting. You get to know characters in ways you don't in the previous series like Dragonlance Chronicles and the Raistlin Chronicles. Plus, it's got Tasslehoff!
