More About the Author

Tielle (pronounced "teal") St. Clare has had life-long love of romance novels. She began reading romances in the 7th grade when she discovered Victoria Holt novels and began writing romances at the age of 16 (during Trigonometry, if the truth be told). During her senior year in high school, the class dressed up as what they would be in twenty years--Tielle dressed as a romance writer. When not writing romances, Tielle has worked in public relations and video production for the past 20 years. She moved to Alaska when she was seven years old in 1972 when her father was transferred with the military. Tielle believes romances should be hot and sexy with a great story and fun characters.

Like the others in the series, this one leans toward the erotic end of erotic romance, which is not to say there isn't plenty of story because there is. But there's also lots and lots of very hot sex. All the heroes are very dominant and Sixx is no exception. After enjoying the three male dragons so much, I wasn't sure how I'd feel about a female. I ended up loving it like the others, perhaps even more. Also, for the very squeamish, the other stories include rare scenes with oral sex performed by the dragons, this one does not.

I've loved all the books I've read by Ms. St. Clare, including this one. It's a great ending to a fascinating series. If you like paranormal mixed in with plenty of great erotic scenes, you won't go wrong with a book from Ms. St. Clare!

Certain elements of this story are certainly surprising, which is nice, but I think Kayla's story is the weakest of the four. All-in-all, nothing *really* happens. The plot doesn't travel far.

There certainly is a lot of steam (ahem), and some of that is pretty hawt, but it does get a bit rote after a while, and I found myself skimming.

I don't think I'll be re-reading this. Wasn't really necessary, and I'm not even sure I like the epilogue that much.

Kind of a bummer.
