5.0 out of 5 stars Another Bermuda Triangle?
This is a *very* entertaining book. If you enjoy reading about the Bermuda Triangle, UFO's, the Loch Ness monster, Bigfoot, and every other hard-to-explain phenomenon, then you simply *must* read this book!
This is classic Berlitz!

2.0 out of 5 stars Decent Fiction
Charles Berlitz wrote a million of these books. They are all very entertaining but not exactly scholarly works. For an example, Berlitz says that one of the ships lost in the "Dragon's Triangle" was considered jinxed after silent film star Thelma Todd was found dead on it. Oops! Thelma was found dead in her garage in California! Well, what do you expect from a book like...

Well, what do you expect from a book like this? I'm not saying the book stinks-I'm just saying that I wouldn't make an large wagers based on the "facts" Berlitz put in it. That's a major problem with works on the "paranormal"-many of the people who write them are lazy, slipshod researchers who make stupid, easily correctable mistakes. I mean, If I know that Todd died in Hollywood, why didn't Berlitz? So enjoy this but don't believe it.

This review is from: The Dragon's Triangle (Hardcover)
First edition, 1989, 208 pages with bibliography, a few photos. This book combines science with legend, ultimately suggesting that undetected tsunamis or even some lost-lost civilization may be responsible for some of the lost aircraft and ships. Whatever the reasons, the fact that 13 Russian subs were lost in the "triangle" makes this a compelling mystery.
