Great New Release, January 27, 2003

This new CD single released by Dir en grey last week was very much worth the wait. For those who are unfamiliar, this is the first CD single released since the mini-album Six Ugly released last July.
Most would expect the group to stick to the Six Ugly style, with it's heavy riffs and harsh vocals, but the new single deviates with a whole new approach. Kyo reverts back to the vocal style made popular in the Gauze-Macabre era, while the band keeps the heaviness of Six Ugly and Kisou.
For those doubting Dir en grey's musical path since Six Ugly, this single may change any previous thoughts. This is surely a sign of things to come.
