I AM FROM NYC AND I CAN'T FIND A CAKE AS GOOD AS THESE, IN SC

I just want to tell you that Drake`s Coffe Cakes are the only thing that i can eat 1st thing in the morning, i have to have food in me so i can take my medication in the Morning. I get real upset if i can`t find them in my Grocery Store. Thanks Drake`s. Lois Schou, Zellwood, Florida

Another hard to forget favorite was my drake's coffee cakes. These were mini coffee cakes complete with the streusel topping that tasted so good with milk. The bottom of the cakes were like buttery pound cake, while the top was a sugary streusel crumble. These cakes were perfect for my lunchbag. I love cake and thought that this small muffin sized one was so good and filling. It was a great treat then and now I still relish them.

These are just the best junky coffee cakes in the world! I ordered 5 boxes hoping they would last for a few months...wrong! We ate them up!

These are just okay. I bought them because I remember seeing them growing up, but I wasn't allowed to eat snack cakes as a child. And they made them look really good on Seinfeld. Now was my chance.
They are really dry, and when you bite into them, they immediately begin falling apart. I thought the streusel was going to be moister too, but it was as dry as one would expect straight ground cinnamon with a touch of sugar would be.

And for cakes so dry, who can believe they are so fattening? Not to mention the 2.5 grams of (delicious) artery-clogging trans fat. I guess they won't be spoiling any time this year. Strangest thing about them is when you eat them, it's like....you never ate them. They need more flavor.
I've never been a dunker with cakes or donuts, but try it and they might be better.

I had to try "em, loved these! I highly recommend this product as it arrive before the date and were so fresh!

Try Drake's coffeecakes!

Bought them as a Seinfeld gag gift so it didn't really matter, but I wouldn't buy them again, even if they showed up in our local grocery store.

The item was not fresh although the expiration date was for 1 week ahead of scheduled time. I would not order this again. I was disappointed.

I've lived in NY and Boston, and Drakes Cakes totally rock. *And* they're kosher. I wish Amazon.com would add their apple pies; those are the ones I miss the most. The coffee cakes come in at #2, but it's a kind of distant #2.
