GOOD MUSIC,

My wife is into yoga and her teacher bought her this CD. I'm not so into yoga, but I am into this CD. When my wife listens to it as she's going through her workout, I leave the door to the den open. It's a great way to enjoy the morning paper.

Years ago, when I was struggling to do a daily yoga practice, this music was the break-through. I'd wake up and be in so much physical pain, I wouldn't want to move. But I would put this music on and I couldn't help myself. I'd be up and slowly doing fun, sensual yoga movements chanting along with the mantras. I replay the first couple songs 2 or 3 times and then use the slower songs to wind down and mediate.

This music is groovin'. About an hour of perfect flow. I dig the guitar licks, I dig the indian flute, i dig the whole thing. I told my friends to check it out pronto.

I don't usually like World Music, but this is much better than most world music...The electric guitar and the indian flute go so well together. If you're anything like me and you're sick of popular music, then this is a great new choice...

i bought luminous ragas by steve gorn which was a really really beautiful album, so i thought i'd check out this one too. i really enjoy it. it seems to have a really unique sound, not too heavy and not too light for my taste. i'm not a music critic so i can't really write something like this, but i really loved this cd.

This is one of my favorite CDs to use in my Yoga classes. Don't let it fool you--you don't have to be in a Yoga class to enjoy it. GET THIS CD.

One of my first choices for music while teaching and practicing yoga. Upbeat, energetic, yet relaxing. I think only one track has some vocals, which fade into the background. Good stuff.
