This Album ROCKS!,

Finally, no nasal sounding whiners here in this rock band. A start to finish great album, every song. No "heard it before" symptoms here. It's unique, driving, and melodic all throughout, with each song exploring various degrees of Rock, Industrial, and Power Pop.

Awesome - Something New for a Change!,

I first heard "So Many People" on XM Satellite Radio and I thoroughly enjoyed it. After hearing a few more cuts from Drama Queen from Neurosonic's MySpace site, I knew the album was a must have for my collection.
I've listened to the entire CD several times and I have my favorites from the CD, but overall it's a fantastic work of art. So many artists appearing on the radio have cookie-cutter sounds and lyrics. While these artists may be good, they're just that...good. Neurosonic, on the other hand, is excellent, if not exemplary. Jason Darr, Neurosonic's lead singer and master of most of the sounds on the CD, as well as producer, has blended alternative and hard rock, pop, hip-hop, rap and more into one solid package. A "good" artist masters their main music type. A truly "great" artists masters a lot and Jason's Neurosonic truly does this. The lyrics are intriguing, catchy and dark. As Jason noted in an online interview, the lyrics are selfish and written for him. I don't disagree, but just because he wrote them for himself, the way Neurosonic lays them out makes them a truly great band. I look forward to seeing much more of them in the future.

Neurosonic reminds me alot of 311 with less regee and more rock. Every song is radio friendly, the type of cd you could pop in and listen to from beginning to end. Lots of catchy songs.

This is a great cd. Every time I listen to it, I find a new favorite song. Right now, it's Me Myself and I. This album is worth the money, and I've been recommending it to all my friends. If you're still on the edge about buying it, sample the songs either in amazon or itunes. Its worth the time.

I liked this CD for a while, but got kinda' tired of listening to it after a few weeks. So many of the songs sound the same. Don't get me wrong, I like that sound, (which is why I bought the album) but it gets old after a while. I don't know if Neurosonic has any other albums or not, but I think 1 will do it for me.

The Beatles meet Godsmack! No, that's not it...,

Neurosonic is a Vancouver, B.C. industrial (sort of) band that nobody here in America seems to know about, which is insane. If you smashed My Chemical Romance together with the sometimes Lennonesque-sounding frontman/writer/guitarist Jason Darr, then blended in the harmonies of ELO and the broken heart of a drag queen (I mean literally--in a BLENDER), you'd sort of have their crunched sound. But not really.
They're instantly addictive--brutal guitars attacking knotty, sometimes camp but often lovely tunes. Standouts include the first three tracks ("So Many People", "Are Solar", the VERY Beatles/Byrdsy "I Will Always Be Your Fool") the flawed but warm "Boneheads", and they win the '07 Prettiest Bridge Award for the sleek "Until I Die". This debut's tone is pissed off and trapped--"I'm so bitter I can taste it"--but don't let that fool you; it's only formulaic toward the end of this set, where inspiration seems to leave Barr spent and merely loud. Never mind--Neurosonic have their hearts in the right place and their amps set to "11". I can't wait until they write again.

Awesome CD!!!,

I saw Neurosonic live in DC, and they sound exactly the same as on this CD. They played with Puddle of Mudd, and if you like them, you'll love Neurosonic!!! The first song on the CD is about Ashley Simpson if you don't figure it out from the references. The whole album is great!!!

This is my first record from Neurosonic I know... very dynamic and nice to listen. If you like records from Green Day and Muse then you probably will like this one as well.

fantastic CD - I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite track they are all great and my favorite song changes every time it plays. First heard them on XM radio (So Many People) and bought the CD - only to find that as I listened, every song was just as good, if not better than the last. It's been a long time (since the first Eve 6 CD) that I have loved a CD this much. Highly Recommended!!!!
