This Album ROCKS!,

Finally, no nasal sounding whiners here in this rock band. A start to finish great album, every song. No "heard it before" symptoms here. It's unique, driving, and melodic all throughout, with each song exploring various degrees of Rock, Industrial, and Power Pop.

Awesome - Something New for a Change!,

I first heard "So Many People" on XM Satellite Radio and I thoroughly enjoyed it. After hearing a few more cuts from Drama Queen from Neurosonic's MySpace site, I knew the album was a must have for my collection.
I've listened to the entire CD several times and I have my favorites from the CD, but overall it's a fantastic work of art. So many artists appearing on the radio have cookie-cutter sounds and lyrics. While these artists may be good, they're just that...good. Neurosonic, on the other hand, is excellent, if not exemplary. Jason Darr, Neurosonic's lead singer and master of most of the sounds on the CD, as well as producer, has blended alternative and hard rock, pop, hip-hop, rap and more into one solid package. A "good" artist masters their main music type. A truly "great" artists masters a lot and Jason's Neurosonic truly does this. The lyrics are intriguing, catchy and dark. As Jason noted in an online interview, the lyrics are selfish and written for him. I don't disagree, but just because he wrote them for himself, the way Neurosonic lays them out makes them a truly great band. I look forward to seeing much more of them in the future.

Neurosonic reminds me alot of 311 with less regee and more rock. Every song is radio friendly, the type of cd you could pop in and listen to from beginning to end. Lots of catchy songs.
