My son received this book for Christmas and LOVES it. It's a great book for anyone that loves to draw - it breaks everything down for you and has a step by step illustration for every picture in the book.

These books are good for kids who want to move on beyond simple drawings and add things like fur and more details. My daughter is 9 yrs old and has spent many hours drawing from this book. This particular 50 book has a nice variety of things to draw.

My almost 7 year old expressed an interest in drawing and I thought this book would be useful for her. I am afraid it is still a little too advanced for her and I did not find it very easy either. It looks like it would be very helpful for someone that already has an artistic base; it took me quite a bit of time to do one drawing. I still think it is a good book though.

I am teaching myself how to draw something I have wanted to do FOREVER, and this book is very helpful

I had bought this for my 11 yr old son. He loved it. He was very excited with all the how to draw subjects the book had in it.

My niece loves to draw and she absolutely loves all the how to draw books. A great book for someone who loves drawing!

My 10 year old son has become enraptured with this book, it's perfect for his level of drawing skill and was a perfect gift alongside a sketch pad and pencils!

I purchased this for my niece who is a teacher of young children and she went ape over it. The children love it. She teaches third graders now. I will purchase more books from this series. After all, it is nice to please one child but when one has the opportunity to please numerous children it is incumbent upon us all to do the right thing.

This book gave my eight-year-old son the encouragement he needed to draw. I am amazed at how well he's doing! The book is easy to follow, and provides step-by-step directions. I had a drawing book similar to this as a child and I'm grateful they still publish them. Awesome. Thanks!

Not too useful as a learning to draw tool--okay if you only want to copy the 50 objects presented, NOT good if you want to understand the how and why of presenting what you see with your eye as a picture on paper. I am oldish and artsy-ish and found the book discouraging; my 5yo kid found it okay as a starting point for imagination, but NOT instruction.
