Cute Little Book,
By
This review is from: How to Draw Wild Animals (Art Smart (Gareth Stevens)) (Library Binding)
I found this book at the library today and was hoping to find it here on Amazon. This is a cute little book with step-by-step illustrations for drawing the following animals: an elephant, a tiger, monkey, parrot, hippo, wild boar, zebra, giraffe, and a kangaroo. The book includes two pages for each animal: one page for the instructions, and another page with a full color illustration. There are also a few suggestions for variations in facial expressions and details.Although the book is quite small, I really appreciate the simplicity... I think every child could draw these animals quite easily. I am an elementary art teacher, and I plan on purchasing the entire series of these books for my classroom. I was shocked to find that the retail price is so high... I would never pay $17.00 or more for this book, simply because of its size. However, the books in this series seem to be going for under $5 with shipping, which I feel is quite reasonable and affordable.
