Fabulous,

I got this for my 6 year old daughter who loves fairies and mermaids. The art projects are awesome, many different ways to create, each project can take around an hour to do. Some of the projects need parental guidance for her age, delicate tissue paper, cutting tin foil, etc. but the outcome is always amazing and she loves to display her work, which really turns out to look professional. Could this book lead to a career in illustrating childrens book, very probable!
Also recommend "I can draw Animals" by Gibson, that she can do 100% herself with step by step directions.

Really fun for my almost 5 year old, I can see she's getting better at drawing all ready. Sometimes I do the drawing and she tells me how to do it. WE are enjoying the ideas in the the book.

Sure, they look great in the book, but none of the projects in this book will ever come out looking like the examples. It looks easy, but for little hands the drawings are kinda complicated. I've seen better drawing books for this age group.

Educational and Fun! The book is very well written/illustrated and my 4 year old daughter caught on right away. After a short while she was using the lessons in the book to create really wonderful images. She is very proud of her lovely artwork! Use watercolor paint and a magic marker (for the outlines) for best results.

We love the book. It is great for teaching kids to draw. Our daughters love to draw pictures from this book to illustrate their own books. Thanks.

What a great book for any little girl who loves to draw. I have it for my daughter and often give books from this collection for birthday gifts. This book + a pack of paper + markers and crayons are always a hit. Such sweet illustrations.

This is a good place for young artists to start. The drawings are cute, and my 6 year old wanted to try them immediately. This is kid drawing, but it teaches proportion and technique. She is very happy with the book.

My seven year old loves this book and I have to say even though it doesn't teach the foundations of art, it's a good doodle book and I think it's really fun and sweet. A book for younger kids, maybe as a birthday present or for the kid who doesn't want to learn the history of art, or art form and techniques. I liked it.

Great book for tweens. My daughter brings it on all of our rode trips and still enjoys it.

Not a drawing book,

You open up the book expecting to learn how to draw fairies, and the first thing it tells you to do is take out your watercolor paints. WTF? That's not drawing, it's painting. This book is a waste of time if you want your kids to draw.
