This CD is the result of an intimate gathering with dear friends at our home for a night of "soaking" in the Lord's presence. From the very first note, we stepped into a divine flow of the Holy Spirit. The whole night became a journey in which these songs poured out spontaneously, one after another. This album is probably our most peaceful one. Draw Near is very special to us since it was birthed in our bonus room! We have not seen this kind of a flow in such a way that all of the songs became a part of a CD in one session.

This is the first album I've ever owned by the Riveras. I had heard of them before, but I had never seen any of their albums in the stores until a friend loaned me a copy of the Draw Near CD.

This album is simply breathtaking. It was recorded at a live worship session organized by the Riveras and attended by some friends in their home.

Their style of worship is unlike anything I've ever heard. They blend insturmental keyboard solos with beautiful, soleful vocals (by Kimberly) to bring the presence of God. My private worship goes to another level of intimacy with the Lord. It's so relaxing, and the world seems to melt away whenever I listen to this CD.

Bottom line: If you like relaxing music, it doesn't matter if you believe in God or not, this CD is a treat for the ears and your heart.
