If you really want to get in the presence of God, then this is the CD for you. Elder Tarver taps into the very essence of God. I simply cannot stop listening to this CD. This one is for real worshippers. It is truly a work of art.

This CD is Awsome. I can't seem to stop playing my favorite track #1 "Sweet Spirit. My CD player is stuck on repeat for this track. This CD is annointed yet Soulful. It's filled with R&B overtones. "Better Than That" and "Dance With Me" are two more great tracks on the CD. I love this CD and play it every Sunday morning after church while cooking dinner for my family. Track #1 "Sweet Spirit" ushers in the power of the Holy Ghost and moves me to tears when playing it in my car. This CD is a must have for every Gospel Music collector.

Elder Tarver has provided the best praise CD of the year. Its smooth and also uplifting.

I love this CD! This music is for all age groups. It is ideal for meditation, praise and worship. If you are looking for music to help you in your prayer life, try this one. My favorite is the Psalmist Prayer.

The CD by Phil Tarver, Draw Nearer is excellent. I am still listening to this CD right now because it ministers to me. I look forward to purchasing additional gospel music by Phil Tarver (and Shekinah Glory) in the near future. Thank you for the opportunity and the selection at amazon.com.

The annointing on this project is awesome. My only disappointment is that I have not seen a performance track to go along with it. These are the types of songs that ministries need to experience everywhere.

This album flows unlike any other solo project. If you like a song space a song or something to make you do that church nod, this ain't for you. For those who don't like the top 40 gospel hits all the time and need to truly be in awe of an AWESOME GOD. This is for you. If you like, Micah Stampley, Marvin Sapp or Israel Houghton you will love this. Every worshiper or want to be worshipper must have it. There is only one song I like here. "Better than that". The rest is very slow, repetitious and uninspiring. As I always say, to each his own.
