5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book, April 11, 2005
This review is from: Draw Really Cool Stuff (Spiral-bound)
This is a great book for students that are interested in drawing. It takes the drawing from a very basic level, with clear, concise steps, to a finished products. I bought it for my ten year old to perfect his drawing. The drawings are a little advanced for him, but it challenges him and because the steps are very clear even he, at his young age, can drawn with this book. A must have for young artists.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Drawing Book, REALLY Good Value! Highly Recommended!, December 20, 2008
This review is from: Draw Really Cool Stuff (Spiral-bound)
My son received this set of DRAW books as a gift when he was 8 and still uses them several times a month (he is now 12). We are fairly impressed with the results he is able to produce.

The book includes 6 "books" (actually still sold separately), Ocean Animals, Cars, Desert Animals, Dinosaurs, Rainforest Animals, and Insects. It takes the most simplistic approach to drawing, braking the process down to three steps (basic shapes, detailing, "cleaning up"). Each image includes 4 - 10 illustrations and the corresponding instructions presented in an easy to understand format.

The "Tips" section is worth reading as well.

Highly recommended!
