This is a great book for students that are interested in drawing. It takes the drawing from a very basic level, with clear, concise steps, to a finished products. I bought it for my ten year old to perfect his drawing. The drawings are a little advanced for him, but it challenges him and because the steps are very clear even he, at his young age, can drawn with this book. A must have for young artists.

My 9 year old son thinks this book is really cool and thats enough for me.

My son received this set of DRAW books as a gift when he was 8 and still uses them several times a month (he is now 12). We are fairly impressed with the results he is able to produce.

The book includes 6 "books" (actually still sold separately), Ocean Animals, Cars, Desert Animals, Dinosaurs, Rainforest Animals, and Insects. It takes the most simplistic approach to drawing, braking the process down to three steps (basic shapes, detailing, "cleaning up"). Each image includes 4 - 10 illustrations and the corresponding instructions presented in an easy to understand format.

The "Tips" section is worth reading as well.

there are several of this kind of drawing books and they are great.
Adults or kids alike - just great step by step instructions.
this is a great purchase. I can only recommend it. My sons (5 and 8) love 'them!

I got this for a neighbor's 8 yr old boy for Christmas. He and his entire family have enjoyed learning to draw ever since. Hopefully it will retain his interest.
I suspect it will as it shows step by step how to draw so many things all starting with such elementary basic shapes and advancing to well composed drawings.

A must have for your library if you have kids. This book really builds self-confident in kids' drawing. It also helps them to concentrate and pay attention to detail. Simply wonderful and what a great price!

I bought this book to entertain and occupy my Elementary aged students. They absolutely love it! I had to re-order similar books just to keep the peace in the classroom.

This is a great book for children to learn how to draw. It is an attractive book and very durable. This is the second book I bought for my grandchildren and would recommend it to any parent or grandparent for their child/grandchild.
