Draw Something

You don't have to be an artist to tap into your creative, doodle-loving side. Art is for everyone, so just Draw Something! The Draw Something app for your Android device and Kindle Fire is a social drawing and guessing game. Tap into your inner-Picasso, or tap into your inner-third grade art class. You only have to draw as well as your friend can guess.

Doodle with Friends

Draw Something is a turn-based drawing game you play with friends. Challenge friends on Facebook or Twitter, or let Draw Something automatically pair you with a new game buddy. Don't be shy. We're all artists in our own way here. The turn-based gameplay allows you and your partner to play at your own pace, and squeeze in as many turns as you prefer--and you'll be trying to squeeze in a lot. In case you forgot, drawing is really fun.

Choose Your Muse

When it's your turn to draw, choose one of the three word options to depict. Each word represents a different level of difficulty: Easy, Medium, and Hard. The objective is to earn gold coins. A hard word earns three gold coins, medium earns two, and easy earns one. If you're not a fan of any of the words, use a bomb to blow them up for new word options. Don't waste your bombs; you don't get many.

Tools of the Trade

Draw Something offers more than 2,500 words to kick-off your creative journey (ad-free version). But there's no need to stop there.

Color Packs

You don't just have a lot of drawing to do, you get to color too. Add color packs to your masterpiece for that extra touch of perfection.

Brushes

Alter your brush size, erase mistakes, or delete and start over if you just aren't getting it right. Once you've created the magnum opus that you envisioned, tap the Done button and wait for your friend to guess the word.

Seamless Syncing

If you already have the free version, switching to the paid version is easy! Your existing account, games, and friends will carry over automatically to this ad-free version.

Just in Case: If you are having trouble finding your Draw Something password, please check the welcome e-mail you received when you signed up.

PLEASE NOTE: This app lets you purchase digital content using actual money. You can configure parental controls for in-app purchases, which will require your Amazon account password or a 4-digit PIN, by tapping the Menu icon and then Settings.

When are we getting the update on Kindle fire. I paid for the app , I should be able to upgrade it or update it. Don't understand why it is not available for kindle users. For a while after every drawing I was getting an upgrade ad with a button to click. But nothing happened when I clicked on it. Getting very frustrated that I can not play like some of my friends who are using the app s ofn
their phones !!
I'D GIVE IT 5 STARTS IF I COULD UPDATE IT !

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun even if you can't draw April 26, 2012

Length: 0:20 Mins
If you have already been playing on the Kindle Fire then you know how great Draw Something works on this device. Up until now the game had to be side loaded. Now we can all play without the ads.

This is the version where you can comment to the people you are playing with and undo your last stroke.

When I added this app from Amazon all my colors were still there. All my in progress games were still there. It's all good.

If you have NOT already played Draw Something then I do not know what you're waiting for. It does not matter if you can draw or not. It's still a ton of fun.

You do not need to have a facebook account. You can sign up with just an email address. They do not spam you. Also you don't need to have any friends. The game will find random people for you to play with. NOTE: don't be a tool people - for crying out loud do not just WRITE THE WORD. At least try to draw something.

I have attached a video of some drawings made by one of the people I play with. This just shows you want you 'can' do with the game. But don't be intimidated, even if you're all about stick figures you'll still have fun.

1.0 out of 5 stars OMGPOP -> OMGFAIL! July 21, 2012

C'mon OMGPOP/Zynga. Update the Kindle Paid version please?!?

Ever since you updated the regular Android and iOS versions to buy fancy words that earn more coins, the Kindle app crashes with:

Error (Marmalade v5.2.1 [300266]) Too many controls added to LayoutManager!

Happens every time. Doesn't happen on my Android phone running the version I got from the Play Store. Nor does it happen iPad or iPhone.

I even uninstalled and reinstalled.

3.0 out of 5 stars confused September 11, 2012

bought the full version for 2.99 for the kindle fire because the ad said more words, unlimited bombs, and no ads. so far, the only thing true is the no ads. I didn't mind the ads before, I just wanted the new words. I play this with my mom, and we're tired of the same words. about to ask for my money back. love the game, don't love the misleading advertisement. save yourself the money and just play the free one.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth it on kindle December 18, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase
This would be a fantastic app for a tablet, and I love it on my android, but the kindle version never updates and is stuck on version -0.03... new word categories don't work AT ALL, badges also do not work, and using an older version means that watching a replay of a drawing takes exactly as long as the drawing did to begin with - not a deal-breaker, but still annoying. I wish this version would update, I can't use it until it does.

1.0 out of 5 stars Kindle edition is not like everyone else's
This version does not give extra bonus words to get more coins etc. so my husband buys 1500 bombs and has no extra categories to spend them on.

My experience is that you never get what you pay for with real money. I am just trying to get as much fun out of D.S. free as I can. I would have liked to buy coins, so I could expand my colors and buy bombs, but it didn't work. Got a refund from Amazon, but was disappointed. What I don't... Read more

No, but it doesn't have ads and that's totally worth it because those are especially disruptive ads (signing in with Facebook can create FB "ads" too).

Colors come only in groups of 5 preselected colors in "packages," and cost 250 coins per package. But coins can be... Read more
