***This book is actually listed for 8yr and up. I noticed before ordering that it says it is for 4-8 yr olds but assumed that is was for older kids.***

This is a nice drawing workbook typical to this brand. It comes with the little plastic pencil case, a pen and pencil that are stamped with the Star Wars logo, a blue and black colored pencil, and an eraser(not what is pictured). I would have liked the dual colored pencils pictured in the description.

It begins with basic drawing steps, tracing, stick figures & shapes and then the details. There are pages to learn to draw all of the main Clone Wars characters along with troopers and droids. The book is meant to be drawn in but I think some extra tracing paper may be helpful for my son(8yr).

The drawings are very detailed and fairly advanced but it does have good instructions.

I bought this book for my son who is 11 years old - he loves Star Wars. He enjoys it very much and his drawings of the characters have been very good. Directions and pictures are easy to follow. I was happy with this purchase.

My 7 year old son received this as a Christmas gift and it has been one of the favorites, if not the favorite. My son loves art and drawing, so this works very well for him. So, as far as age is concerned, I guess it depends on the fine motor ability and the love of Star Wars. I am ordering the Marvel one for him now. I hope they make more in the future.

I purchased this for my son's 10th Birthday. It was a huge hit and he has been drawing up a storm ever since. The book helps guide him along very nicely with easy to follow directions, tips and techniques. If your son/daughter loves to draw and is a fan of The Clone Wars then this is a must have for them.

Our babysitter got this for our kids, and I liked it so much I had to get one for myself. Excellent basics to advanced sketching, people to droids. Very cool...

My 12 year old loves this item...it shows him step by step on how to draw the characters from Star wars the clone Wars...he loves to draw and this book was prefect.

I got this drawing book as a stocking stuffer for my +30 yr old boyfriend. Didn't think it was going to be as cool as it is. There is pages on how to draw the different light sabers, tracing paper to help begining artists out and the fine tipped marker that comes with it has "STAR WARS" printed on the shaft... which I think was my Honey's favorite thing about the book.

book is great- got for my 7 year old son- only thing is it doesnt come with enough tracing paper so def by some extra.

This is just what was advertised. I am so excited to have my son open this on Christmas morning, he loves drawing and he loves Star Wars.

My 6 1/2 year old grandson is a huge Star Wars fan and he really enjoyed learning the process and drawing his favorite characters with the help of this book.
