5.0 out of 5 stars Amazon Art At It's Best!, June 18, 2002

This review is from: How to Draw Wonder Woman (Paperback)
This is a GREAT book for persons who are just starting out with their art styles. It takes a very basic look at such things as perspectives, distance, expressions, layering and backgrounds. The written details and explainative drawings are even simple enough for young children to follow. Not only that, but the book is also very thorough on the current comic book characters highlighted, from heroes to villians to friends. Similar to the Superman and Batman drawing books that were released during the same period, this is a can't miss book for fans and collectors of the 'wonderous' DC Comic character.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good beginner level book., February 26, 2010

This review is from: How to Draw Wonder Woman (Paperback)
I have many better how to draw books, Namely how to draw comics the marvel way.

But this is a solid buy, especially for fans of the amazon.

For all the things like foreshortening and perspective it does the job well. For learning how to draw basic people of various types it's pretty good. And it does a decent job for telling people how to draw Diana.

It goes slightly downhill on other characters.

One thing to look out for its this one will take a lot more space to store than usual. Its much larger in length and width than the average book of it's type.
