Book Description

November 1, 2005
The clothed figure is a fascinating subject for beginner and experienced artist alike. While the human body offers a physical and psychological point of interest, the clad figure gives even further scope with which to tell a story. Working from the naked body through to the draped and attired model, this book focuses uniquely on the figure and cloth while addressing the practicalities of using various drawing and painting techniques to transfer what you see onto the two-dimensional surface.

1.0 out of 5 stars very amateur book, February 14, 2009

This review is from: Drawing and Painting the Clothed Figure (Paperback)
Drawing and Painting the clothed figure is not very helpful at all. The illustrations are very amatuerish and lack any depth of explanation or guidance to approach. Would not recommend for anyone who is serious about understanding clothing drapery.
