5.0 out of 5 stars Great for parents interested in children's literacy and creativity, August 6, 2010
This review is from: Drawing/Writing and the new literacy (Plastic Comb)
I first read a version of this book over a decade ago, before I had children, and didn't recognize the tremendous insights Dr. Sheridan had put forth at the time. Now, with a very artistic six-year-old having shown me the way, I can appreciate just how remarkable this book is. A fascinating read and eminently useful. It inspired me to draw with my child, as well as to revisit all of my ideas about creativity. Highly recommended.
