DREADSTAR!!!!,

This review is from: Dreadstar Volume 1 Part 2 (Definitive Collections) (v. 1, Pt. 2) (Paperback)
I am a fan of Jim Starlin. I have always wanted to read the complete Dreadstar and I must say that I love the book. I think that it is finely crafted and printed, and it collects the second half of the beginning of Starlin's epic "Space Opera." The storylines are not overly complicated, but they do connect wonderfully enough to keep the average reader interested. I just love a hero who is awesome but make great and horrendous mistakes at the same time. You have to understand that at the beginning of the story, Vanth Dreadstar is already responsible for killing Trillions... he helped with the total destruction of his own galaxy. How much more horrible can you get than that?
To the comic fan, I say this is a must read. You see in this series, plots that they have not yet even began to cover in movies. Read this!
