I can't believe no one has reviwed this album yet! This is one of the greatest albums ever released blending Eastern rythym, style, sentiment and instruments with Western 'festival' dance beats. If you like music that makes you happy to be alive, this will cheer you up! The transglobal conglomerate have always attempted to mix influences, but still manage to remain fresh and appealing. Many East/West crossovers just take a simple beat and play tablas over the top, but Transglobal Undergound try any instrument they can get their hands on, and back it up with some of the most magical vocals you are likely to hear - and you can still dance to it! Winner!

I bought this on Cassette around 1995 and then it went everywhere with me, the cassette gave up the ghost around 1998 so ive been looking for this on CD for a long time. Finally being able to get it has made my year.

This is by far one of the most original bands i have ever heard, mixing worldwide instruments with incredible vocals and a great beat, i havent met anyone who didnt like this album, you wont regret the purchase, its a must for every collection.

This is my favorite Trans-global Underground cd and 'Slowfinger' is my favorite track off of it... And when I dj I play that track and everyone pretty much responds posiviely to it... I highly recommend any nu world music dance/lounge dj to buy this cd to include in your mix... It's got some very danceable tracks as well as mellower ones - DJ Dakini-NYC...
