A preview of this book came in a box of Cheerios and when I read it to my 8 month old daughter, she was mesmerized and it instantly became her favorite bedtime book. It's a very well written book and not too many words to lose a kids interest.

My granddaughter loves this book! I got a small free paperback copy on a box of Cheerios and she has asked me to read it to her so often, it's worn out. So I'm ordering the hardback. It's a beautiful book, she loves the pictures and repetition of some of the lines. At the end of the story, she tells the little boy "night, night" every time!

I love reading stories to my son, but he wants them read so repeatedly that I get tired of a lot of his books. But I never get tired of reading this one! It's absolutely beautiful in the thoughts involved as well as the pictures. And it has a soothing, sleepy cadence that is perfect for a dreamy book, and also perfect for a bedtime story.

This is my husband's favorite book to read to our daughter at bedtime. We had a small paperback copy, but when my daughter ripped the pages, we had to get her Daddy a new one to read to her at bedtime.

Beautiful words and beautiful, magical drawings. I love reading this book to my boys. First I found out about this book on CSI Las Vegas episode!
