It's very inspirational. It shows that people need support from their family and friends. You can do anything no matter what kind of life you have. I would love to have a supportive boyfriend to stick by me no matter what. The only reason that I didn't give it five stars is Keanu's character acted like a dufus alot. But I did love the love scene. It was very touching and sweet. His character was what every guy should be when making love to the woman that he loves.

Ke gives a good early performance as geeky Tommy Werneki, who gets the girl and helps her overcome her trials.

He looks awfully cute and fresh looking and his love scene is tender and caring.

I just love this show. Whenever I'm sick or feeling down, I throw it in the vcr. I wish I could by it on dvd. It's such an 80s flashback with such heart and kick. Makes you believe you can do anything. I just love it. Keanu is nice in the film, but it's Olivia D'abo that makes it so good. She's such a good actress. For an 80s feel good movie, you can't beat it. She wins her way back up to the top. I just love it every time.

This could be called a "Flashdance" rip-off, but it has something very unique. Keanu Reeves in his first supporting role on film, and he makes the most of it ("Youngblood" preceded it, but that was a small part). This slender youth commands the screen and exudes awesome charm and charisma. A future superstar ! This is a must for Keanu fans.

This is a fun and entertaining movie for anyone who likes gymnastics. It features Keanu Reeves (pre-"Bill & Ted") as Tommy, the wannabe boyfriend of aspiring highschool gymnastic champion Robin, played by Olivia D'Abo. One of the more memorable scenes shows Robin & Leah (Robin's arch-rival) at the drive-in having a tumbling challenge to see who's the "best"--Robin "wins" with a running-roundoff-backhandspring-backflip over a red sportscar. The movie is also completely "80's"--with big hair, pop music and funky clothes. While the technical aspects of the movie leave a bit to be desired, and the plot line is a bit predictable, it does have the requisite happy ending.

Where did they get the pictures for the tape box? Certainly neither lead character looked anything like that in the movie! Also the description says Keanu's character helps Olivia's character achieve success. I'd say he had little to do with it -it was all her and her friend. Nevertheless, he kills in the love scene! Overall a pretty poorly put together movie. And for a gymnast Olivia always looked kind of clunky, not graceful as you might expect. (Also my tape quality was VERY POOR.)

This movie is entertaining and inspiring; but the most important reason to buy this is in 2 words: Keanu Reeves!

I won't give the story away except to say that Keanu is at his best romantic performance! You can not miss this movie Keanu lovers!

"Dream to Believe" will make you realize that you indeed have to dream first in order to achieve anything! If you desire something bad enough and are willing to work hard enough for it, you can achieve it! Reach for the stars! You can do it! And if all else fails, do like Olvia d'Abo did and just "get your a#! across the falls!"

Great 80's "feel-good" movie! Don't waste your time renting it; GO BUY THIS ONE! You won't be disappointed! Trust me!

Starring Keanu Reeves, an impressive actor, Dream to Believe is a great movie because Reeves has delivered such an outstanding performance!

This is my all time fav film...but how is it that no sound track was ever made...the music makes this film and i would give anything to get my hands on it...help!! CAZ xx

I SAW IT WHEN I WAS ABOUT 15, LIVING IN AN ORPHANAGE. I ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH. I COULD NEVER FIND A COPY, BEEN SEARCHING FOREVER. SO HAPPY TO FIND ONE NOW. FUNNY PARTS, SAD PARTS, HAPPY PARTS, ANGRY PARTS, THE ENTIRE SPECTRUM OF HUMAN EMOTION. MAKES FOR GREAT ENTERTAINMENT. VERY FEW MOVIES DURRING THIS PERIOD OF TIME WERE AS FULFILLING. DID NOT CARE IF REAVES OR D ALBO WAS IN IT OR NOT STORY LINE WAS GREAT. LOVED THE ENDING " LOOKS LIKE YOU'VE WON " answer " NO, I JUST GOT MY ASS ACROSS THE FALLS ". {NIAGRA FALLS} ALBO'S CHARACTER WAS SO SWEET AND STRONG. REEVES WAS GEEKY BUT SO KEANUE. I NEVER EVEN KNEW IT WAS HIM AT THE TIME. ANYHOW I'LL BE ESTATIC WHEN I GET MY NEW COPY.
