Narketta Sparkman M.A, has planned events for over five years. She has planned and designed both social and corporate events. She is a college instructor of event planning and event design teaching her students the art of planning events. She holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Michigan. Mrs. Sparkman also owns and operates Special Occasions by Sparkman Event Planning, a full service event planning agency. She has been quoted in local magazines and newspapers. She stays abreast of industry trends by her professional membership in the International Special Events Society. She currently holds the position of Vice President of Membership. Dream Big Plan Smart
Is a must have for anyone that is planning their own wedding, receiving minimal support from a Wedding Planner, or new to the Event Planning industry. This book shares resources and gives problem preventive suggestions. It is an easy read and very affordable. The fact that Mrs. Sparkman has not only been successful in bringing dream weddings to fruition; but teaches the course at an accredited college confirms her discourse. I highly recommend this book. I would also place this book in the category of the "How To/For Dummies Books" e.g. Human Resources for Dummies and Microsoft Office for Dummies.
