I purchased this book while on vacation in New York for $55.00 at Barns& Nobel. I see hre that is $28.00 This book has about 3 pages for each car that has colour pictures, it gives all of the technical data on the cars, tells how many are in the world, Everything you want to know except the price of them. I has a whole article on each car telling you a lot of information about it. It includes most of the exotic cars new and old such as the Ferrari Dino, Lamborghini Mura, Countach, and Diablo SV, McLaren F1, Lotus Esprite, Astin Martin DB1, BD6, and the DB7. Ect. It has a lot of cars and I highley suggest it to everyone (espically auto collectors)

I thought this book was terrific. It had great pictures and great information. The book gave you the good and bad points of every single one of the 51 cars in the book. The only disapointment was, it didn't tell you how much the cars cost. If you want great pictures or great information or both, this is the book to get. With the Ferrari F40, AC Cobra, Dodge Charger,Lamborghini Diablo, and many more, this is one book no car lover should be without.

For most of us the cars Frankel show us we will only see in books such as this or our dreams. The 51 models shown here represent slightly less than 200,000 cars produced with 10 models representing 90% of that. Only a third of the cars are still in production - the others range up to 92 years (and still running - the original Rolls Royce Silver Ghost). The vast majority of these particular cars are plated in Britain so we won't see them on North American roads although many of their breathern may be found in Europe or over here. I have ridden in one of the models shown (an E Type) and have lusted over the few others I have seen. This truly is a car lovers dream book.

I've read a lot of books that compile a batch of supercars or sports cars, and a lot of them all have the same cars that we're all more than familiar with (Mclaren F1, Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari Enzo). This book does include some of those cars, but it includes a lot of lesser known cars that are hugely significant, like the Jaguar XKSS (16 made) and the Rolls Royce Silver Ghost. I was a bit skeptical that I could learn anything I didn't know already, but this book introduced me to a lot of significant cars that I wouldn't be familiar with otherwise. This is definitely an excellent book to have if you like car compilation books and you want to learn something new.

The book also gives a significant amount of information of each car in an interesting way. It's not like reading a History textbook with a bunch of dry facts and figures. This book tells some entertaining stories, tells you how rare they are, and other information that makes the car special.

The cover/binding is very sturdy. I can't see it getting shelf wear anytime soon. Plus, the pictures are excellent. Highly recommended book!
