My largest concern with this product was the level of assumption; let's start by what it does:

It does indeed connect to a computer, and with a desktop app you can see what the camera sees, pan/tilt, and hit the "fire" button.

Unfortunately, beyond 10 feet, the projectile arcs so far down, it's hitting below the bottom of the video feed, so you cannot even see where it hits. I guess I assumed it had pressure similar to a child's nerf gun.

Tilt and Pan are by hitting a button, so of course it's by hops (think of a watch with a jumping-second hand rather than a continuous sweep). The "gunner" needs to choose whether to hit the far left side of the target, or the far right side.

the projectile fires roughly 6 noisy seconds after the launch command, so stealth or quick shooting... they don't go to the same parties and events as the OIC.

The extra "Over Internet" requires an outdated Windows PC and uses the old Windows Messenger tool (I think it's the one already turned off, not the one turning off in April); the good news is that because I tested on a Mac, and cannot use the OIC feature, I won't see any features disappear. Your mileage may vary. I would love to see an opensource OIC for this.

As a cute way of breaking things up in the cubicle farm, it works; as an actual usable turret for cubicle defense in the event of an office dust-up (stuff of legends, just like the non-existent tech-intern), no good... Unfortunately, it's now a $47 paperweight.

I had some expectations for this (involving dogs who should not jump up on sofas but know when people are watching) but the range, responsiveness, and herky-jerky pan/tilt kinda blew it for me.

Initial impressions:
Pros:
- Webcam for precision! Very cool feature!
- Installation was a snap.
- Intimidation factor.
- Decent coverage! Launches about ~8-10 feet usually.

Cons:
- Motor is a tad too loud for "stealthy office missile launches"
- Foam missiles broke after only a couple of uses (cheap glue)
- Multiple failure launches (foam missiles fitting too tightly)
- Shooting isn't instant unfortunately. It will reload before shooting which is a bit noisy.

Overall:
Fun office toy. $50 is a bit steep but had a good time shooting a co-worker his entire shift!

Great gift. Hard to set up though. Had to go on line as software wasn't correct. But once it was set up it has been a blast!! One cat loves to be bombed, the Siamese, not so much. Have blasted my parents remotely from school when I tell them to get something out of my room. It's a gas!!!!

If only the missiles could be purchased separately as they break.... Very powerful and great software with sound effects, love it!

This missile launcher is better quality than the others. (besides the newest storm) I've been using this for awhile. Very accurate, and is a great way to start the week shooting your employers!

I bought this for Christmas for my husband. He and our two grown sons had a great time with it. It worked according to the description. Would not work on a 64 bit Windows 7 machine, but worked on his Netbook. The fins come off the missiles - I'm glad I got extras.

I'm sure this product is great, however the site to download the software (DreamCheeky) has been down since Christmas day.

For a company that builds a great piece of hardware you would think they would spend a couple of bucks a month on site monitoring while they take a vacation!
