This is a great set of costumes for a little princess. As one might expect, everything, from the plastic jewelry (a couple of the earrings don't stay together well) to the sheer dresses, is pretty cheap, but I wasn't terribly disappointed with the quality in light of the variety of items included. What's nice about the set is that there is a variety - not just one outfit to try on then discard. My 2 year old daughter tried on 5 different "looks" upon opening the box and mastered the "glass slippers" in minutes.

The castle top of the box is a bit flimsy and I don't expect it to last long, but it added to the excitement of opening the package the first time.

Value for the money? Well, with price plus tax and shipping, I think it's a bit overpriced, but it is significantly cheaper than the Disney set, and my daughter doesn't know the difference. If it's a light blue dress, it's Cinderella, whether it's Disney or not!

My daughter wanted this soooo bad, so I finally gave in for Christmas. It arrived today and I am so disappointed! First of all, the box does not have the castle top like the pictures show. Second, the clothes are really tiny and flimsy...very bad quality. I just opened the box and some of the tops are already coming apart at their seams and around the edges. Third, the description should tell you that you don't get all the different skirts really; each skirt is half one color on the front, and half one color on the back...rip off! Lastly, for this cardboard trunk of junk, it was way too overpriced! Now I'm going to have to spend even more money buying her something better to make up for this tacky gift.

The main reason this item recieved any stars from me is that my girls love to dress up, so I cannot deny that it has a fun factor and that there is educational value since it gives a huge boost to the imagination. However, I have two girls both of whom are average height--my oldest at 9 has outgrown this since she was 3, but still LOVES to dress up. My youngest at 6 has grown out of this as well at age 3. It is just not worth the money for the little time that they can use it. The quality is also horrible. The outfits do not stay together, the shoes break and the jewelry does as well. My recommendation is to go to a local consignment shop or clearance sales and buy some "fancy" dresses, buy some cheap jewels at the dollar stores and create your own princess box. My girls have gotten many more YEARS of use from the items I have purchased this way. Happy dress up Hunting!

This would be great for small girls, however I got this for my daughter who is almost four and the clothes barley fit her. If your child is over 3 1/2 years old I would not recommend this.

I ordered two for birthday presents. I got plain boxes that are already falling apart....no castle, no castle-like attachment, nothing that resembles the photos posted with this product. Bummer, I could have bought the same clothes for much less, but thought the idea of a castle as packaging was great! I guess some things you just should go to the store for.

My daughter is 3 years old, she got the Dress-up Trunk for her birthday. She loves it! The clothes smell a little weird when you first open the Trunk, but it goes away soon after. I would say it's worth the money.

This toy is not worth the price, especially when you can get a Fairytale Wonderland Dress Up Chest at CostCo for around $30 with much better quality clothing that washes nicely in the gentle cycle and fits girls up to age 6.

We got this for my daughter a year ago, at three, and she still plays with it just as much now as she did then. Are the clothes durable? No, but the sheer variety of outfits and the convenient (though also flimsy) storage box make it perfect for active imaginations and for quick, kid-directed clean-up. One thought - consider buying one other pair of plastic "dress-up" shoes, as we did, so a friend can play too (and not fight over the one pair in this set).

The idea is nice but the clothes are unbelievably small! My daughter is 3 and these clothes fit her ok, but if she grows much more they will no longer fit. She is about 38 pounds and 38 inches and normally wears size 4. She is a little big for her age, so I assume the average 4 year old may fit in these clothes. The quality of the clothes could be better, but luckily I got this product in the store on sale for thirty. I wouldn't pay full price for it. The tiara was broken when we opened the box as well. Our box was like a castle sort of, it just didn't have the parts poking off the top. The box is cute and sturdy, though. It is also roomy enough to put other dress up clothes inside. I gave it a three because it is misleading. The girls in the picture are definitely too big to wear these clothes.

My daughter loves the high heeled shoes. The outfits require some adult assistance to put and are fairly durable. The earrings and trunk are not so durable. The set as a whole has been a lot of fun for her and less expensive than disney outfits.
