I bought this for my 6-year-old daughter for Christmas even though we knew it was going to be small. The chair is really sized for kids in the 3- to 5-year-old range. My daughter, who is 4 feet tall, can sit in it, but not with the hair dryer dome down. The maufacturer should have made the chair and the hair dryer support adjustable. Other than the size issue, it is a fun toy. I just wish it was sized so my daughter could enjoy it longer.

My sister, who owns a hair salon, bought this for my 5 year old for Christmas, along with the salon & storage cart. Although, on the small scale, my daughter absolutely loves it. It seems sturdy. It is definitely adorable & fun! My daughter had a blast doing everyone's hair today. Don't expect anyone over 75 lbs. to sit in this chair. That would be pushing it. With that said, your little one will certainly enjoy playing "hair salon" with her friends & dolls!! The accessories (sold separately) really compliment this item & with a good imagination, will add hours of fun and entertainment for your little one!

We just got done putting this together for my daughter for Christmas morning and I can not believe what a piece of junk it is. I am so mad I paid 120 bucks for this thing it looks like if my kids sit in it the first time it will break. I am so diappointed I don't know what to do. I can't believe any toy maker would ask for that much money for such a crap toy. I thought for sure if I was paying that much money it would be quality stuff, boy was I wrong. I wish I could return it.
