I've tried the whole line of Dream Essential sleep masks and this is my favorite for at home use. I love the soft comfortable fabric of this mask. It feels luxurious. The fabric is a pleasure to wear against the skin. I'm a side sleeper and use the mask all night to block morning light. I love the strap system; this is one of the few masks that usually stays on throughout the night. The profile of the mask is also thin which makes it comfortable for all types of sleeper. It's even a great mask to pack in your suitcase for road trips. The Escape has no light leakage unlike some other masks. Best of all it doesn't rest on your eyes. It is a pleasure to use for extended periods. I absolutely love this mask and won't sleep without it.

I bought this for my mom as a gift. The quality of the item was high. Nice packaging, and includes the carry bag and ear plugs. Well made and will last a long time. I asked my mom for her opinion for the review, and she said to give it three stars and to say it's good for blocking out the light, but is a bit too heavy on the face. Would prefer it to be lighter in weight. She also said it can be uncomfortable when you are lying on your side or stomach. It is not necessarily a bad product - it depends on your sleeping habits/positions and personal preference.

I've been using the Dream Essentials Escape sleeping mask for quite some time now, since January 2011, and now it's August.

What I like most about this sleeping mask is that it is highly durable and well made. I've used two other sleeping masks including the Sweet Dreams countered sleeping mask from Dream Essentials which was good but not as durable or light-blocking as this mask. Durability is key for long term use, and the Escape does just that.

The mask is very large though, and heavy so to say. It is quite a bit of material on the face but does the job well. The convenient adjustable straps are a plus too!

The fabric is high quality and will definitely last you over time. The BEST feature is the contoured shape for the eyes which puts NO pressure on the eyes when you open them at night. Perfect mask for anyone!

I had tried a number of different and expensive sleep masks but none had never achieved 100% light block-out until now. The Dream Essentials Escape mask blocks out 100% of light. Even in the middle of a sunny day I can put this on and am in total darkness. I can't understand one reviewer saying it's hard at the sides? This mask is unbelievably soft all over and is completely comfortable to wear all night through lying in any postion. In fact, when mine first arrived I took it to show my partner how amazingly soft the fabric was. I'd never felt fabric so soft. I've used this mask every night for about a year now. I already own two but am about to get a third in case they ever stop making them. They are that good. It stays in place all night and there's no pressure whatsoever on my eyes. This mask is a dream come true.

I bought one of these last year. Actually, I bought three different models of sleep masks at the same time, in order to test them out. I liked this one so much that I am buying the very same model again this year. Why am I buying another one? Because one of my dogs ate the first one! I still have the other two masks of different models, but this one stands out above the others. Even though I was able to buy this mask at half price last year and have to pay full price for it this year, it's worth it!

I am giving this mask 4 stars instead of 5, just because it **is** a bit warm on the face during hot weather. However, all the masks I've tried have the same problem. Despite other reviews on this product, I don't have any problems sleeping on my side with this mask -- and I LOVE the off-the-eye design. Overall, it's a great mask!

the mask is pretty good. it blocks more light than most of the masks i've used before. my problem is I couldn't keep it in place. the earplugs are useless. they are too soft to properly block the ear canal opening.

I work 3 nights a week and after almost 6 years, it's still difficult for me to sleep during the day. Other masks that I have tried always let light in and half the time I wake up with it on my forehead. This mask is the most perfect mask I have ever used! I get total darkness without it pressing against my eyelids. The first time I wore it, it was still on my face when I woke up!! I highly recommend this mask!!

I am ordering my third mask...the first was eaten by my puppy, the second is safely in my nightstand, this third is for travel. I cannot sleep with any light at all and I cannot be without this mask. I have been wearing sleep masks for 15 years, starting with cheap drug store masks. I have used this mask for the last 5 years every night. The first lasted 4 years until it met my puppy, the second is entering it's second year and I have to have a spare.
I sleep on my back mostly, but I do not have any issues when I move to my side. It does shift when I sleep on my side, but I am used to it and it never goes far (unlike my old masks). I love the eye pockets and the strap.

This was a lot bulkier than I had thought it would be. I am returning it. It would be great if you are a back-sleeper, but I sleep on my side, and it dug into the side of my head.

I'd never used a sleep mask before and saw the high user ratings, so I tried this one in hopes I could relax with a contraption that has a strap around my head just to keep the light out. It was wicked comfortable when I had the back of my head on the pillow. Unfortunately, being a side sleeper, when I put my face sideways on the pillow it didn't feel good - kind of lumpy. I sent it back. If this wouldn't be an issue for you, I'd recommend it.
