Book Description

February 25, 2010
Nobody quite knew what to make of them. Were they simply fun-loving thrill-seekers leaping from surfboards and roaring motorcycles to hang gliders, and then on to the most advanced rocket-propelled jetpacks on the planet? Or were they a genuine menace to religious traditionalists who were outraged when the Order began taking over churches, cathedrals and temples for their fiery flying rituals?

Bets swung both ways, but as the self-styled revolutionaries swelled in number and the media culture exulted, zealots turned violent and the press immediately warned of dogfights in the sky, street battles, mind games and soul wars.

Behind the scenes, the Powers That Be were strangely silent. But then word began filtering out that the secret elite were playing the two sides off against each other and there were whispers of a hidden agenda that could shift global power, profits and the future of the world itself...

Editorial Reviews

Review

"In a sense, we have all had our wings broken; it remains the major function of such hallowed institutions as organized religion and free compulsory education to see that our wings are broken, or at least clipped, before we reach adulthood. How else will society have the insectoid units it needs to fill the cubicles in its hive economy?

But what if we begin to regrow healthy organs of Poetic Imagination and flight? What if we put on the wings and arouse the coiled splendor within as LIBER AL urges? Is it not predictable that society will react with the fury described by Wayne Saalman in this novel? Joyce did not name his emblematic Artist merely Daedalus but Stephen Dedalus after St. Stephen Protomartyr who reported a Vision and was stoned to death for it." --Robert Anton Wilson from the Introduction

"Saalman takes us on a quantum leap beyond the collective unconscious into our futures..." --Christopher S. Hyatt, Ph.D.

"This book is pure magick. It made me smile." --Timothy Leary

I loved the first edition of this book. I read it maybe 20 years ago. And the updated revised edition is even better! I love this author. I wish he would publish more often. I understand he is coming out with a new book soon. I am so looking forward to reading it. Keep up the great work!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Dream Lives ON!, April 27, 2010
"Are You Already One of Them?", that is the ILLUMINATI Question everyone.

Hi d' Ho Kith & Kin of this swirling world. Dream on and forever it shall be, being and is always becoming. Wayne Saalman has gone into the Inner Core In I Am and has brought back from our Source the impeccable tale of how to "Dream & Tell". Those old enough to remember how in public schools, kids were asked to bring in curious objects to "Show & Tell" other classmates about what they had found that was so interesting will recognize that this is Wayne's (a Knight of Falcon Press) objective for our Jungian Archetypical, "Collective Unconscious" classmates.

As the back of the book entices you to ask, "Are You Already One of Them?". Now is the time to get on or off the Bus and answer this fundamental question. RAW readers will buy the book for the Intro alone. Dan Brown readers will Find their Lost Symbol! Dream On - For Ours is a magical swhorling world. Lau~ren~Zen

5.0 out of 5 stars This book soars!, February 5, 2010
This review is from: The Dream Illuminati: A Global Revolution Takes Wing (Paperback)
I just finished reading The Dream Illuminati and found it to be deeply inspirational and exciting. I have had a few flying dreams of my own and know how exhilarating they can be. The way that the author wove his story around them I thought was quite amazing especially once the characters actually took to the sky on rocket packs. This is surely in our human future at some point and Saalman is clearly anticipating it. He seems to want people to understand the mythical and symbolic importance of the human drive to fly and the role of the soul as it seeks to soar heavenwards. Very profound stuff, but also a great tale and a wondrous adventure, this book!
I highly recommend it!
