I agree with the other reviews, this book was fantastic! I've never heard of Kasey Mars or Kat Martin, but I will definitely be looking into her other books. The characters were smart, honest, weren't manipulative and changed through out the book. And surprisingly for a romance -- most of it was believable -- the love affair definitely was. And there were some pretty hot scenes. Quite an enjoyable read!

The Dream is a book about a woman named Jenny who starts having disturbing nightmares about a child in Haiti. These dreams are brought on by the murder of her husband. Jack, a man trying to save his boat from beig confiscated sees her wandering down the beach looking scared and distant. He brings her back home and they start a friendship; only she won't trust him in her house. As their friendship progresses the dreams go from bad to worse. She eventually is scared enough to talk to a psychiatrist who recomends hypnotherapy. During these sessions she discovers things about herself that she never new. Past lives come into view and her husband's murder into question. Meanwhile Jack is desperatly trying to save his boat his heart from Jenny and things are getting dangerous. This is one of the best books I have ever had the privilige of reading. I hope you enjoy it. Stick with it and you'll fall in love with these characters.

Just to let other readers of this novel, Kasey Mars is now writing under the name of Kat Martin. She has written quite a few just as marvelous novel under the new pen name. Please try them they're great!

I read the Silent Rose in 1994 and The Dream in 1995. I can't wait for you to come out with another book. I can't believe it's been this long. I check at my book store all the time for something new. Please write again soon! I would love to hear if there is something in the works so I can keep watching.
