Holy Calibrations! Papa esapes from the Atlanta Mental Ward,
By Ted Magnuson "author of The Moses Probe" (Oregon, Western USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dream Killer (Paperback)
Jael was happy hacking into esoteric scientific journals and reviewing calibrations of Hubble's constant until he met Keerie. She's sweet; she'd just like Jael to help her father escape from the Atlanta Residence for the Mentally Diseased where Jael is a security guard.Well, well, well. Wouldn't you know it, those mental patients are actually political prisoners. The best laid plans of the escape do indeed go astray- but not before we follow Jael and Keerie out of Atlanta to the coast and from there to The Moon where people can fly on wings in a huge atrium. Mr. Davidson's world is replete with mind-bending techniques, Virtual Reality deceptions and news spinning. Driven by intriguing views on personal identity, loyalty and pragmatism, Dream Killer is a warm cozy nail-biter. As to whether Jael returns from his adventure to finding flaws in the Fifth Unified Theory or whether the two lovers break the conspiracy of repression that keeps them apart- you'll only know if you read Dream Killer to find out! It's a short fun adventure. |
