Bought this just months before my house got broken into and got to put it to use...

I don't get the poor reviews for this. I've had one for about 2 years now and it does exactly what I hoped it would do. It's motion operated so it's not just running constantly- only when someone walks in front of it. To the casual observer, it looks just like a $15 alarm clock. The video quality isn't stunning, but it's certainly on par with what I consider to be normal security footage quality. I actually got to put this camera to use for the exact reason I purchased a year and a half ago. My house was broken into and, sure enough, this camera got both of the guys on video and was instrumental in catching them and was used as evidence against them in court. There isn't any online monitoring or wifi support, but that doesn't bother me. Maybe my needs and expectations for this device are simple, but this is perfect for what I need.

Not what I expected

I received the radio, found that alarm #2 would not shut off, still goes off every morning. The camera is limited to what you can see, there is no more that about 30 degree and some of that is blocked by the camera placement. I have a cheap camera for my bicycle that takes better pictures than this. Would not recommend this item.
