I purchased this play yard for my new Grandson who was here for 2 weeks at Christmas. Loved the idea that we could also use it as a changing table and that it had lots of pockets here and there for storage. My husband and I worked together to set it up and found that it was a little difficult to set up and take down and to get back into the storage bag but otherwise very happy with it. One of the nice features is that it has wheels at one end which made it easy to move from room to room.

I ordered it because it sounded good and the price was quite low. But after putting it together, We did not think we could put the infant in it because of poor design. The material on the sides had little tension on them so it was floppy. The bassinette feature had a little velcro to hold it up and I did not trust it. The changing area was a simple cloth sling. I should mention that the cloth is all slippery nylon. I ended up returning it and buying one at a retail store.

It's got cleaner lines without all the teddy bears and barn animals you find printed on most baby gear, which I appreciate. The colors are nicer in person than what is depicted online. The changing table is by far better than the one supplied with my Graco PnP-Melbourne (which cost more than twice as much). The toy bar...well, show me a PnP with a truly good one. The dimensions are identical to my Graco PnP.

The directions...they are half-arsed at best. They tell you how to set up the basic play yard but do not tell you how to put together the changing table. Since the pieces are a bit odd and the picture tells you little, here was how I did it:

Gather the changing table nylon base (A), the two longest poles (B), and the two shortest poles with plastic arms attached(C). On the outside of the short ends of the changing table base(A), you will see a piece of velcro and a sewn hollow tube. Open up the metal/plastic arm/pole(C) and slide the metal pole through the sewn nylon tube. If it is done correctly, you will see that the velcro tab lines up with an opening in the plastic arm that is just the right size for said velcro. For now, do not attach the velcro. Repeat on the opposite side. Use the photo as reference.

Now gather the two long poles(B). You will see that the one with the plastic end cap on each end will attached to the metal arm on the short poles that you just assembled(C). Slide the long pole (B) through the long sewn tube on the changing table (A). Insert the small pole(C) into the plastic end cap so that the small "silver male" piece clicks into place. Repeat on the opposite end.

Take the remaining long pole(B) and slide through the remaining sewn tube(A). Push the ends into the holes in the plastic arm (C) til they click into place on each side. NOW you can insert the velcro and place the changing table onto the PnP.

I don't write instructions for a living for good reason, but I hope that helps.

I was a little apprehensive about ordering this product after having seen reviews on some other sites, but after having received it I am completely satisfied with the play yard. It sets up very easily and is just as big and roomy as more expensive models. I agree with other customers that the 'play' bar is really inappropriate for babies, but i have never really used those anyway on any other products, so no big deal. It looks good, very light and easy to move around, and was the right price.

I bought this play yard for my new grandbaby to have when she came to visit. It has been good and very convenient. We use the changing sling often, although she will outgrow it soon. The mobile of little animals is a bit cheap and does not fit well. In fact, we don't use it because it will not stay put. The rest of the play yard, such as, the adjustable bottom, the storage pocket on the side, and the ease of cleaning, is great. I would recommend this item to anyone.

This just arrived and I put it together in about 8 minutes. The play yard itself only took 2 or 3, but putting together the changing table for the first time took a few minutes. Even better than the easy set up is how sturdy it feels. This is our 3rd play yard over the last decade and it is by far the strongest feeling one we have had. I have to agree with another reviewer that it does seems heavier than other play yards, but that is probably why it is so sturdy. All of our play yards have also had the adjustable height and changing area. I like the those on this play yard better also. This bed area has two stabilizing bars that run under the bassinet height that really keep it flat. The design on the changing table attachment has to be the best I've seen. It to, is very sturdy. It folds down compactly so it is out of the way when the baby is in the bed. I really love this play yard!

I ordered this just a couple of days before my son was born. I got it the day before he was born. Between my (then 7 year old) daughter and I, we had it completely set up within less than 30 minutes. The toy bar is flimsy, so I only left it on when he was an infant and couldn't reach it. We used the bassinet feature a few times. It was wonderful not having to bend all the way down to pick him up. The changing pad worked very well, but it doesn't attach to the p&p, you just set it on top. The pocket at the end really worked well to store a few extra diapers and other baby things you might need at random times. We've now had this for 19 months. My son still plays in it when I need him in a secured area. It's still in great condition, even though he has now learned to jump. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased this product 5 days before delivering my son. It was very difficult to install. Instruction Manuel had partial and unclear instructions. Im not pleased with the changing table because there is no way to physically attach it to the pack n play. I have to manually place and remove it when necessary. The toys on the toy bar are not appropriate for babies, so I will not be using it. I shouldve just payed more money for a better quality. The price was good an I only recommend it if its within your budget range.

Confusing at first to put together but very good once you have it figured out.

I guess the old saying "you get what you pay for" probably applies to this item. Although this is the first one I've ever bought.

This play yard's assembly instructions were not very good... they did have written instructions and just very small pictures to go with the written instructions... and the instructions were not complete! Nothing was included about the changing table or the arched bar that has the little mobile toys attached... but that was simple to figure out how to attach (the mobile is not made very well though - don't ever let baby get ahold of it!).
This play yard will suit our purposes ok. It does seem sturdy enough for an infant. And the mattress seems adequate. However, you do not want to get this model if you plan to pack it up and take it somewhere to then set it up again.... it is extremely difficult to get the 2 end top bars to lock in place. We finally figured out that you have to pull up quickly to get them to lock. I'm afraid to take it apart now!

I also don't understand what the function of the legs on the bottom cross bar is... they do not reach the ground.... unless they will touch once you get a heavier baby laying in the crib.
My grandson is going on 5 mo old and is getting close to 14 lbs already.. so, we are not even going to use the changing table.. it's not that big.. and I don't know how to put it together anyway!

There were no guidelines for age or weight listed for the use of the basinet level of the play yard. We put our little 15 lb dog in it (on top of the bare mattress) and it seems to hold his weight very well. The sides of the basinet level (with mattress) are approx 11 inches high.. which I think is slightly higher than a lot of real basinets. I haven't put my grandson in it yet, so don't know how well he will do in it at that level. I'm sure we won't be able to use that level for too much longer though, as he is already starting to push himself up on his little arms. I just wish there was a weight limit listed for that level.

Another reviewer said there are 'a lot of pockets'. The one I got (grey and red) only has one on one end of the outside of the play yard. It is a large pocket though.

If I have any issues or problems, after my grandson has been in this play yard, I will update my review.
