3.0 out of 5 stars nice size but hard to set up.
I like the large size of this but I found it difficult to set up. It took 4 adults to figure it out and 2 of us working together to get the sides to lock.
It was also difficult to get it back into the storage bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars nice product, February 10, 2010

I got this playpen in the multi, because at the time it was the cheapest, and I really didn't care. Now, it is a little garish, but at the same time I actually really like it-it's bright, sturdy, and is about 1 1/2 in. taller and 3 in. longer than my Graco pack and play. I like how the ends are solid, sometimes my 11 month old isn't exactly crazy about being in the playpen, but if she sees me walk away, it gets worse. The solid ends allow me to sit in the same room, but out of sight, which lets my daughter play by herself longer. I gave it 5 stars, because I have yet to find any flaws with it. Granted, it isn't as elegant? as my pack and play, but as already stated, that wasn't important to me. So far, it is sturdy, sets up quickly and easily, and I like that it comes with a storage bag, which as yet I haven't tried, but since that is what it came in, I know that it fits. The pocket on one end is a good place to store the bag. I have been very satisfied with this purchase, and I would buy it again. Oh, and the picture shows it having the ends taller and curved, but they aren't, all 4 sides are the same height.

Update:I have used the storage bag twice, and it is very easy to get in the bag, and the handles make it easy to carry-I'm liking it better than my Pack and Play!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, November 1, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a very sturdy, attractive product that is just as nice as those much more expensive. And despite being sturdy, it's easy and light to move all over my condo. Rectangular shape is perfect for smaller spaces -- same square footage as square play yards, but the rectangle shape fits easily into more places (like bringing it into the dining room when the sit-down dinner went on too long for a one-year old; the square play yard would not have fit). I'm an urban grandma and did not want anything with primary colors. The navy looks very nice with my decor. I was worried about the lower price, thinking the play yard would be inferior. Don't worry. It's not. Happily, this is not a case of "you get what you pay for." I'm very pleased with this play yard, my granddaughter is happy in it. Great play yard.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice play pen but misleading accessories, July 2, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The play pen is great, sturdy and of good quality.
My only annoyance is Amazon has mattresses, protectors, sheets etc.. they "suggest" to make with this purchase or show "what other customers purchased with this item" that DO NOT FIT. I purchased the Dream on Me mattress to go with this item but it is WAY too small. I am in the process of returning it and hope they do the right thing and give me a refund. Glad I didn't buy the protector and sheets too, I was planning to buy them later.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bigger than a standard play yard, April 26, 2011

This just arrived on my porch today and I was eagerly set it up. I already have a Graco pack n play with all the bells and whistles but opted to get a second one to keep in the car for travel. As a single foster parent, baby often needs to go where I go and be where I am. Obviously, I didn't need the second one to be fancy. One thing I did want was something a little longer. It turns out that my current foster child is off-the-charts-tall: 32.5" at only 12 months old. He also has some developmental delays and so will probably need the use of a play yard longer than the average child. Not to mention that fact that people keep wanting to plop their kid in with my kid. Anyway, I knew 3 inches wouldn't be much but any little bit would help. Turns out, 3" certainly doesn't look like much but I'm glad to have it. When opened, the play yard does look a bit more spacious and when lined up to the Graco clearly is longer. Standard play yard sheets won't fit BTW, but I can sew and plan to make my own. Not a problem. Doesn't technically need a sheet but....eww.
Construction quality and ease of setup is every bit as nice as the Graco and quite similar - maybe even nicer. The mat feels beefier. I like that the handle on the carry case is not integral with the mat like the Graco. Mine hasn't yet broken but I've seen many others which have. Also no need to line up the handle with the hole in the case - you get used to it I know but it's nicer this way. I also like the pocket on the end - will be a great place to stash the carry case and a few baby supplies/toys when we have to set up shop for a while. For some, the fact that the ends are not see-through may be a downside but I actually prefer it that way. It's the reason I chose this over my other option LA Baby Commercial Grade 30.5" X 43.5" Playard, Royal Blue. Didn't really need the commercial construction and I often end up putting blankets over the side to block his view so he can't see me and will sleep. Buy it, you'll like it.
BTW, the model that comes with the changing table (the Deluxe) is NOT longer than average.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love it!, March 15, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I love this playard. It literally took me less than 2 minutes to set it up. It is so big, my 2 year old had a lot of room, this will fit him for another few years. I agree with other reviews that the directions are terrible. Hopefully I can simplify them, after you undo the Velcro stand it on end and slowly open it, but do not push the center down. Pull up on the middle section until you hear a click, do the same with the ends. After all sides are in place press the center down until its flat. It will be a little stiff at first, just keep pressing on it. After its flat lay down mattress and your done.
To take it down, first take out mattress and then pull up on the rope in the center until the sides start pulling up. In the middle of each side is a button, put your hand underneath and lift up a little bit and Pres the button in, you will then feel the sides go in. As your pulling all the sides in you need to make sure that all of them remain unlocked, if they don't fold in easily, then go around and check all the buttons to make sure they are all unlocked, if they are then it will fold up easily. Then lay it back on the mattress and relatch it. I hope this helps someone. It really is a nice one.

4.0 out of 5 stars great value!, May 3, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The bottom of the inside of the playpen, that the baby sits, plays, and sleeps on is in connected sections, (to fold up for travel) heavy to lift, and slightly padded. I bought an extra pad to make it softer, (couldn't find the right size, as this company does not offer it here) and to conceal the wedges between the sections. The screen is soft, navy blue, and very attractive and larger than most play yards. It isn't light weight as advertised, and is difficult to place in its carrying case; you need two people to maneuver it into its case, making it awkward, thus only four stars. However, it is safe, attractive, well made, and the greatest value we've found on the internet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent play yard!, June 4, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Shipped free and arrived in LESS than 48 hours! Works exactly as advertised! Well built, easy to open and close (just remember the order to do things: in other words, floor is pushed down LAST when opening; it is raised up FIRST when closing), and significantly larger than average play yard --- even our two year old grand daughter loves it! Way to go, Amazon, you did it again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great size for older toddler, December 24, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
My son bangs his head on the side of the crib to fall asleep, so we've kept him in portable cribs his whole life. He's now two and tall, and out grew our standard size crib. This portable crib is taller and roomier inside. He cannot crawl out of it, and he has lots of room to stretch out. To create a comfortable sleeping surface, we folded up a twin size comforter for the bottom. The two ends of the crib have solid material, so its quite dark inside. We are pleased with the crib.

Based on other favorable reviews of this play yard, I purchased one for my granddaughter's upcoming visit. It was perfect for her to sleep in while she was here. Easy to move - not too heavy - yet sturdy. I definitely recommend this play yard.

This review is from: Dream On Me Full Size Play Yard, Pink (Baby Product)
I personally think this is a great pack n play. I did not need one that had a bassinet or anything like that, just one that was good for traveling for naptime. I have twins so I had only gotten one pack n play at first. That one was a graco one. I thought that one was "ok" but the bottom didnt seem really sturdy to me which was a disappointment. This one however, the bottom is GREAT and very sturdy. I wish I could buy another one of these b/c they are so much nicer and bigger than the graco one. Def a good buy!
