My grandaughter can finally rest comfortably in her Graco pacnplay which had a very hard mattress. So far this mattress is exactly what we needed when I babysit her at my house. I placed it directly on top of the pacnplay mattress, covered it with a pacnplay size fitted sheet and voila! a nice comfy napping place for her which proved to be a lot cheaper than buying a new crib and crib mattress.

My daughter refused to sleep in her pack'n'play when we traveled, which is often. Purchased this mattress after considering all options including buying a second crib for my husband's place while he's on temporary assignment. Read reviews on other sites to find that portable crib mattress are same size as most playpens. Mattress fits in playpen nearly perfect, did roll up a blanket to tuck between the small gap on one side. My daughter slept great. What a relief... no having to break the co-sleeping when we return home!

When I read the negative reveiws for this matress I noticed that most of them said they didn't fit a pack n play. Since I was looking for a wooden portable crib I assumed this should fit then & it does. Those reviewers saying it doesn't fit just bought the wrong one. I believe the demensions are in the description too. It fits with appropriate snugness & is hard enough for you to feel comfortable about safety, but also has a comfortable softness to it. I was pleased with this item.

I havent tried this mattress yet ( my baby hasn't been born yet), but I bought it after buying the extra firm mattress from Dream On Me. I am a pediatrician, so I wanted a firm mattress for my baby. The extra firm mattress was EXTREMELY firm and I felt that I would not be comfortable on such a mattress, let alone my baby, and I like my mattress firm. I returned the extra firm one (thanks to free returns) and ordered this one. This is is firm but not rock hard, and has some softness to it. I think that my baby will have no problems with it, and I know it will be safe for my baby.

We bought this for a graco playpen, it ended up being about an inchand a half too narrow but over all the fit was fine. It feels a little soft for my tastes, but the grandchild loves it! He sleeps like a log when he is visiting with us now and we did not have to invest in a full size crib.

I had a hard time finding a good mattress for a Canadian portable crib and the Dutch ones here in Holland are different sizes so for our trip to Canada to visit the grandparents I needed a good one that would last a few years. It was impossible to get one in Canada so I started searching the US. This one was good vaule for money and I had it shipped to an aunt in the US and she brought it to Canada for me (Amazon couldn't ship this item to Canada unfortunately). It fit well (slight space on each side where the soother ended up each night)and wasn't too soft or too hard. It's harder than our normal crib mattress at home but our 11 month old slept perfectly on it for 3 weeks of vacation and seemed right at home. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it doesn't fold up so transporting it in the car wasn't as easy as with our Dutch portbale mattress which folds in three parts and fits in a bag. But I would reccommend it if you have a portable crib which basically stays put most of the time, or a big trunk!

Great Mattress for Graco Pack-n-Play Play-Yard--Bassinet Component,

I purchased two Dream On Me 3-inch portable crib mattresses, and I received them on time; however, I received one Dream On Me mattress that was significantly firmer than the other (I think the manufacturer sent me their extra-firm Dream On Me mattress by mistake). Furthermore, the manufacturer sent what appeared to be a used mattress that another customer returned--the plastic that covered the mattress was opened, and it had stains on it--so I exchanged it for another one, which the manufacturer sent promptly. This error notwithstanding, I am still giving this product five stars because it has helped my baby with his sleep.
I read the reviews that indicated that the mattress had a one to two inch margin on the long side of the mattress; however, that was not the case for the Graco Pack-n-Play Play-Yard if you placed the mattress on the bassinet component (the upper deck) for infants. Yes, there is a one to two inch margin if placed on the very bottom of the play-yard. Other reviewers suggested to utilize a rolled-towel to fill the gap(s), which I will try once my baby grows out of the bassinet. Once I placed the mattress on the bassinet, my baby slept for many consecutive hours compared to without the mattress (I compare Graco's default bassinet mattress to sleeping on a piece of a wood). One caveat though, when you install the mattress to the upper deck, you have to squeeze each of the four ends of the mattress to place it under the four corners of the bassinet, which can be difficult, but once the ends are under the corners, the mattress works great albeit a little concave. Your baby's weight, however, will eventually flaten the mattress out. Overall, I feel that these mattresses are excellent to place in the bassinet component of a play-yard. They help with your infant's sleep without a doubt.

I wanted to upgrade the mattress of the Graco Pac N Play for my grand daughter. This mattress is a nice upgrade. Possibly some models of the pac n play are different sizes, as I read one review that it was a perfect fit. For mine, there is about an 1.5" narrower than the original pad. Not a big deal - a infant could possibly drop a pacifier beside it, but to me no safety issue. Since the pac n play has the soft mesh sides, there is give regardless. My grand daughter has slept very well on it! Has two sides - one which is water proof - and as a result a little firmer, and the other side which is not water proof, but a little softer. So you have that choice. I definitely recommend this product, especially if you have a pac n play. Just measure your crib to make sure it will fit well.

I bought this mattress hoping it would fit in my delta portable cribDelta Fold Away 3-in-1 Portable Crib - Cherry and it fit perfectly. My 9 month old is much more comfortable now. The mattress is of good quality and construction for the price. I didn't want to spend the money on a spring mattress for a crib that she is going to out grow anyway. First night on the new mattress and she slept great! Typical portable crib sheets fit just fine as well.

We're expecting our first baby in Jan 2011 and I bought this mattress to replace the super thin mattress in our Graco Pack 'n Play Playard With Bassinet, Elephant Parade. I was definitely not impressed with this mattress. I knew from all the reviews that there's a slight gap (about a 1 to 1.5 inch), so I was expecting that. I didn't, however, expect this mattress to be soo soft. Not to mention that it's so thin that you can still feel the steel beams along the bottom of the bassinet. I have no idea if my baby would be ok sleeping on this or not, but it's definitely not something I'd feel comfortable on, so I wouldn't use it for my child. I guess softness is "relative", but this mattress seems way too soft for an infant (might be ok for a toddler). I returned and purchased the Dream On Me Extra Firm mattress, so we'll see how that works.
