Customer Reviews

I love that the basket (seat) can be turned to face me or away.

Then magically I figured out that you have to pull on the tab they recommend AND push down the stroller bar with my hips, and it folds very easily.

I recently bought this to replace a Chicco Cortina which I'd never really liked but was decent and capable so I felt stuck with it. But I'd grown increasingly hung up lately on the notion of a rear-facing stroller. Most people seem to think of it as a feature for smaller babies, but I really wanted it for my 2.25 year old who is talking a ton these days. When we go out with the stroller she is chattering and singing and asking me questions nonstop in her sweet little voice and I couldn't hear a word she said when she was facing away from me. I'd seen rear facing strollers around town and assumed they were all crazy expensive but was pleased to find that there were a few mid-priced options available, and finally settled on the Atmosferra.

So far, I am very pleased. The steering is much smoother and easier than with the Cortina. One-handed steering is really important to me, as I sometimes have to take the dog and stroller out at the same time. I've never pushed a $1,000+ stroller and probably never will, so I although I wonder if those strollers feel $800+ better to push than this one, I'm satisfied.

Love the easily adjustible handle. Unfortunately, it does rattle a bit as one walks. Don't like that, as it gives what seems an otherwise sturdy stroller a rickety feel, but perhaps that is common to all telescoping-type handles? This is the only one I've ever tried.

My daughter seems to like the seat and the deep canopy (hates sun in her eyes and this one really blocks sun well). She also LOVES her snack tray and the cupholder, which keeps her sippy cup firmly in place. At about 36" her head is at the top of the seat frame but that doesn't seem to bother her at all because she's always leaning a bit forward to look around, rather than resting her head on it.

I was very excited to find a parent facing stroller in this price range. It is beautiful in person. The quality of the fabric and it handleS like a dream. However when I put my 11 month old son that is 30" in height and weighs 23 lbs, his little head was hitting the top of the stroller frame! I was so disapointed =( I truly loved evertyhing else of the stroller. DUe to this I was unable to keep it. It was just too small. The total length of the seat fully reclined is 29".

After researching many strollers I found this one for the reasonable price. I wanted something that was sturdy and not too expensive (I had asked other people on the street how they liked their stroller and found no one that liked theirs). While I was pregnant I practiced folding the sroller open and close because I did not want issues later.
When my son was two weeks old I took him shopping I opened the stroller with ease (mind you the stroller is big and barely fits in my Solara's trunk) after shopping I went to fold the stroller but to my dismay I couldn't (you have to push the telescope handle all the way down and press a button on the side then pull up to have it close) I forgot about the button on the side and after 20 minutes got so frustrated I called my parents who came and put it in the back of their SUV. So note to anyone that purchases this stroller when folding the stroller do not forget about the side button when lowering the handle.
Other than the folding issues and the size I love this stroller. It moves with ease the under basket is huge and you can get it it either from the front or back. I love that the basket (seat) can be turned to face me or away. I like that the basket (seat) does come off because of the trunk issue I take off the basket put it in the back of the trunk and then fold the frame and put it in with ease (yes, I know it sounds like a pain but it works for me). The cup holder does become dislodged from its hook sometimes but I like that I can move it from the right to left side. The seat does lay flat and I like that it is easy to put down (when looking at other strollers I found most had a strap to put it down or up, this stroller does not it is a handle).
Can't say much more about this stroller except that I love it. Would have given five stars but because it is a pain to fold and is large it got four.

I purchased this stroller not really knowing what to expect, the reviews are mixed. This is not the perfect stroller (is there one?) but I do really like it. I'll be brief.

Pros:
Easy set up
Easy to steer and push
Great on all terrain, streets, dirt roads, I used it at a fair which is in a field, very happy with how it handled
Not THAT big when folded...I have a car with not much space behind the 3rd row, fit just fine
Not too heavy - it's not sold as a lightweight stroller, weighs same as other strollers I have
Easy to fold down
My 1 ½ year old daughter LOVES it
Big storage basket, easy to get to
Looks like a much more expensive stroller
It has a snack tray included

Cons:
The instruction book leaves out an important step to fold up stroller...I was prepared for the challenge because there were so many reviews that it was hard to fold up. I watched the little video on Amazon and was enlightened. There is a black tab on the left stroller handle, you must hold that down (this is not in the instruction book)when you push down handle. Then simply pull the fold up lever and it's folds up no problem!

The seat is on the small side. My daughter is tall and there is a metal bar under the fabric that her head rests on. This doesn't seem to bother her. I put a small pillow over the bar sometimes, she doesn't seem to care either way.

Overall I would definitely recommend this stroller and buy it again myself if I had to. I never leave reviews but like this stroller so much I felt I should.
