This bath tub is awesome!

She can also sit in the bigger part and splash around a little, because it is quite large for baby bath.

I ordered this tub because my Eurobath (EB) got a crack in it and a new one was $40 compared to the blue one of these for $20. It was hard to tell if it was the same looking at the pictures, but it is essentially the same. Once I received it I compared the two. Hope this helps. The Dream on Me (DOM) has a smaller area to sit and a slimmer area to lay baby. This could be a pro or a con, with my EB, this area was a little large for a newborn so we had to put a towel in it so they didn't slide too much. So the DOM might be better for little ones. My guy is just starting to sit up (9 months) and he is a chub and he can still fit. So although it is slimmer, this is the time you would switch them to sitting on the other side anyway. I do like that on the DOM where the baby sits there is a sort of ledge near where the baby's back would be and this is better than the EB which just slopes back. As you know, new sitters are a bit wobbly, so I usually had to wait a long time to have my baby sit up in the EB. There is a drain hole on the DOM, you don't need a rubber hose, but it is smaller than the EB. The drain itself is really unnecessary, you just lift to dump - it gets us in a good habit anyway to not leave it filled. We turn it over completely when done so there is no chance of remaining water in it. But it is nice to have if you overfill it and baby is already in it. Both have the same size soap holders but the EB has slits in it to drain any water. They measure almost identically for height/depth and the circumference.

The DOM says it is good for up to age 2 and the EB says age 3. I would agree with this assessment since the sitting and laying areas are smaller on the DOM. However, I have to say I rarely used my EB past age 2.

After researching many different tubs, I learned that I didn't want to buy multiple tubs for a newborn and then toddler. I also wanted something that could work at counter height for my comfort, but most importantly, my baby had to be comfortable in it. When I found this tub, I was amazed with the pricing - what an incredible deal! It is the solution and deserves a five star rating. Its function and value are more than I could have wished for! We received our drain hose with the tub and a second one came in the box with the stand. From her first bath at 4 weeks until now at 5 months, our baby has enjoyed each and every bath. I line the newborn side with an adult bath towel folded down to a quarter of it's size and she is completely supported with some cushion. I set up the the tub and stand parallel to the regular tub and don't even need the hose to drain. The baby tub can be tilted over the tub to quickly get the water out. (I place my foot on one of the legs to control the flow when I tilt). The stand is durable, made of thick metal piping, especially when everyone else has cut costs and thinned out their metal parts or worse, replaced metal with plastic. The tub and stand are sturdy, and I can easily scrub away, as my baby kicks her legs and arms, splashing with content. It is a big tub, and we have a spare bath for its storage. If I had one minor issue, it would be that I wished the hole (to hang on a door), were on the toddler side of the tub, as we have a little leakage on the floor when I rinse out baby's shampoo. That is a minor detail though, my baby's kicking is far messier. This tub is great and i highly recommend it.

Overall a nice tub and designed to accomodate baby during early phase and later. Only have a couple of negative comments. First of all, it arrived without the so-called rubber drain hose as mentioned in the description. Secondly, we purchased the tub along with the stand but it's not very stable...a bit wobbly. I wrote Dream On Me to tell them about the missing rubber hose and find out if they would just ship it to me. They never responded.

Over the course of 2 babies, we have tried and used 4 different baby tubs.

Fisher-Price 4-in-1 Sling N Seat Tub
Dream On Me 2 Position Baby Bather Bath Tub, Blue
Prince Lionheart washPOD Bathe, White
PRI Infant Bath Seat (White)

Our least favorite is the washPOD.The washpod was the worst of the group. My biggest gripe is it is impossible to clean your baby's legs or underside in it. Keeping enough warm water in it to keep baby warm, but not present a drowning hazard if baby's head flops forward is another problem. When baby is finally strong enough to hold head out of water, baby is bigger and no longer fits in washpod. Just awful design. I see the cute video of the happy baby in this thing, but this was not our experience at all. It is one thing to put your baby in it to soak (or something?), but it is impractical to actually WASH a baby in it. I had big babies (around 10 pounds each). I expect that small babies will work better in it, but I would not recommend it based on our experience.

Followed by the Dream on Me. This is a good design, but it is HUGE. We would have to store this monster in our garage between baths because it took up so much space. Also hard/slippery and not suited to newborns.

Second favorite is the PRI bath seat. The best thing about this one is how small/sleek and clean it is.
