Kelly began her dream research as a curious five-year-old. She and her younger sister shared a room and in morning the girls would wake up excited to discuss what their nighttime adventures might mean in the waking world. Over the years they pouring through dream dictionaries to learn the exciting language of dreams. Kelly eventually studied Carl Jung, Carlos Castaneda and many spiritual and esoteric teachers who took her understanding of dreams to a much deeper level.

Nearly two decades ago Kelly became a certified clinical hypnotherapist and spiritual counselor. This began her professional journey working with her client's subconscious minds so they might discover themselves--their core beliefs, drives and desires--and discover the hidden resources to heal them from past traumas and experience life with new skills, fresh vision, and deeper knowledge.

Kelly soon realized the impact dreams had in the lives of her clients--but no guidebooks on the market at the time dealt with contemporary symbols or blended dream interpretation with a truly life-affirming approach. Her book I Had the Strangest Dream quickly reached #1 on Amazon's Best-seller List and has stayed there for over six years. Since then, she's authored six more books; been guest of over 1,000 media outlets; and traveled the world speaking, teaching and hosting workshops for many thousands of people.

Kelly and her husband Dana and their dogs, Shadow and Lola, are living their dream life amid the animal, trees, and energy of the enchanted Topanga Canyon in California. Kelly is currently in production of a television pilot and is excited to share her latest works It's All In Your Dreams and Dream Oracle Cards.

"I've poured everything I know about dreams into It's All In Your Dreams and Dream Oracle Cards, reflecting the latest research and current wisdom. I'm thrilled to say this work has already transformed my life and the lives of many others. My dreamwork is not just to inspire you to pay attention to your nighttime dreams, but to give you practical tools to access the phenomenal wisdom of your dreaming mind--the rocket fuel to manifest the life of your dreams!" ~ Kelly Sullivan Walden

25 Things Most People Don't Know About Kelly

1. My childhood nickname was Smelly Kelly with a Big Belly full of Jelly...the abbreviated version is simply, "Smelly." My little sister called me "Cow" and I called myself "Lolly". To this day if a family member or close friend calls me by "Kelly" I think something's wrong.

5. The first poem I ever memorized and recited was in 3rd grade, and it went like this: "The Optimist and the pessimist...the difference is a droll. The optimist sees the doughnut, the pessimist sees the hole." Without knowing it that poem laid the foundation for the way, as an adult, I roll (hey, that rhymes!)
6. When I was thirteen I used to wear a comb in my back pocket of my skin tight Chemendefers that said, "If you can read this you are too close."
7. I got a 'D' in my 7th grade cooking class....it scared me for life. To this day I have "kitchen issues".
8. In high school I was a cheerleader and was voted "Most Spirited" by my senior class...GO TEAM!!! To this day, when I get inspired by someone or something, my inner cheerleader comes takes over...and it can be quite obnoxious.
9. I have a blue belt in Tae Kwon Do and I've used to save my life 3 times (thank you mom for insisting I learn it!)
10. My first college semester was in Seville, Spain...where I lived with a Spanish family, traveled throughout Europe, and managed to learn to speak conversational Spanish--thanks to then boyfriend, Jose Maria Luis. I still speak and understand Spanish to this day (with a slight lithp.)
11. At 21 years old I was crowned "Miss Public Nuisance" as a publicity stunt for a Beverly Hills Art Gallery ...it landed me on Hard Copy and an episode of Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous (not because I was rich or famous, but my boss was.)

13. I was a back up dancer for Stacy Q (remember "2 of Hearts"?)

21. I am the creator/founder of the most amazing program (The Dream Project) that inspires young people to discover solutions for the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. 23. I'm an acronym freak and I use them for just about everything, for example: How to get the most from your D.R.E.A.M.S.; how to over come any F.E.A.R.; how to interpret your dreams via the S.A.D.D.L.E. formula, and how to spot the BI.D.s in life (blessings in disguise)!
24. For my 20th high school reunion I was named the person with the "Most Unusual Career." I guess that's what happens when you become a Hypnotherapist/Dream Coach/Author who people refer to as "Doctor Dream"!
25. Along those lines, after being asked repeatedly how I do what I do for a living, I decided to lay it out for people, and pay it forward to those who are interested in following my very bizarre footprints. In these precarious financial times, people are looking for out of the box ways to earn a living in a way that honors their soul...so in 2013 I launched Dream-Life Coach Training (www.DreamLifeCoachTraining.com) to empower people to become Dream-Life Coaches. It's not a career path for everyone, I must say, but it appeals to those who have an interest in nighttime dream work, and who genuinely desire to learn and earn the tools to support people in living the life of their dreams.

Format: Cards
I feel the same way about these cards as Elizabeth Gilbert ( from Eat Pray Love) feels about the Italian language: Each card ( word) is like a tasty truffle. Kelly Sullivan Walden's writing on these cards is like powerful alchemy in and of itself and then there are stunning beautiful paintings of Rassouli's to gaze on while allowing the magic of the dream symbols and all their profound knowledge sinks in.
The cards teach you the 55 most common dream symbols. They offer a direct message to you if you pull this card as part of an oracle, then there is in depth explanation of the meaning of the symbol and finally a short and sweet right on the nose mantra to carry with you ( sort of like a DNA summery of the entire card).
I find the meanings very well rounded, a blend of honoring the traditional dream history of the symbol as well as bringing in a new age twist - which is highly needed in this day and age.
I have had extraordinary results just pulling a card a day, or as needed here and there - for myself and for other people. Literally cards have fallen from the deck and ended up being spot on and also very healing. I have given away around 8 decks so far and keep hearing about how much they are helping people be connected to day and night time dreams.
I have had the honor of taking workshops with both Kelly Sullivan Walden and the Fusion Artist Rassouli and can attest that the cards are a true reflection of the love and dedication that to these two people have put into their life work: empowering people to live from the guidance of their highest selves through dream work and art.

The guide book that comes with the cards give three aspects, "Message", "Meaning" and "Mantra". Kelly Sullivan Walden's message for each card give suggestions and honors the individual to explore further as they become more attuned to their own inner guidance. The meaning portion of the guide allows for different shades of how an image might fit into one's dreaming symbols and possibly get a better grasp on their own subconscious lexicon of imagery. The mantra's are short, uplifting and easy to remember, or put on a post-it. Then there is the artwork by Rassouli. Beautiful images that shift one's perception from the waking world back to the realm of dream time. I feel the images are meant to be experienced more than simply observed. With half an effort, one is easily transported to a 'bigger' realm of reality than normally experienced during waking hours. Bravo!
