This wonderful album will hopefully see a legitimate re-issue soon. The version on sale here is entirely an illegal bootleg, not authorised by publisher or artist (copywrite of the works is owned by Amancio D'Silva...featured writer and guitarist)

For info on legitimate Amancio D'Silva releases see [...]

Format: Audio CD
An unclassifiable blend of jazz, Indian music and psychedelic rock, Cosmic Eye's "Dream Sequence" is a showcase for the (sadly) under-recorded talents of the late Indo-British guitarist Amancio D'Silva. The record itself is comprised of a suite of various movements featuring different soloists, though the predominant soloist is D'Silva himself. The varied instrumentation, including sitar, a flute chorus, some exploratory tenor saxophone played by Alan Branscombe, violin by John Mayer (one of the main collaborators on the "Indo-Jazz" records with Joe Harriott in the 60's) and tabla, give the music the breathing room to paint different colors from movement to movement, each of which melds with the next to create a continuous listening experience. Like all of D'Silva's other work, the fusion of musical ideas from East and West occur most naturally, never sounding forced. The only complaint is that the record only runs around 32 minutes and leaves the listener wanting more.
