Very easy to follow. A perfect transcription. Excelent color an B/W prints. It's like having all the CD booklet plus the guitar tabs. And excellent material to study, practice and play.

This songbook looks very beautiful, the transcripion is perfect. If you want to play the real notes of DT's last album so buy it now !!!!

I recommend this for DT Fans of this album! very nice paperback and clear notations inside! Would definitely get another album tabs like this one!

The book is accurate to a fault to the songs on the album. I also was impressed by the prices here at Amazon. I got a real bargain on this book which retails for $26.95 plus tax most places and after checking with the stores who would have to special order it I decided to go ahead and take a chance on the offer from Amazon. I was $4.75 plus shipping and handling for a grand total of $8.78. That's about 1/3 of the retail price. The only defect is a little tear (barely noticeable on the back cover) but I was surprised that this book is nearly as good as new at 1/3 the cost.

I have come to truly appreciate Dream Theater as well as other progressive rock bands in this day and age of manufactured divas and teen idols. This will truly challenge any guitarist's skills, if that means anything to you.

The songs are accurately transcribed with and at a bargain price. This is definitely going to require repeated listening and practicing but I think it's well worth the effort. The best thing about the progressive rock genre is that the level of musicianship is well above average and in the long run, especially if you plan to study music formally or perform this will be beneficail in that it will put you ahead of the rest. I hope to eventually collect the other DT song books, highly recommended along with John Petrucci's "Rock Discipline" video, which is probably for my money the most informative and comprehensive tutorial.
