Dream Walking is not just inspiring but motivating as well. It was an easy read that encouraged me to look more in depth into life's goals. It was nice to finally read a book that took me step-by-step into the process of self-reflection and spiritual reflection. This book really helped to see better the things in my life I can change for a healthier me. It also helped me to work with the things I have no control over so that I may find better ways to navigate through life unforeseen obstacles. I encourage all to take moment or two, read the book and find the inner dream walker in you. A few minutes of reading and reflecting can lead to some inspiring life changes. I know it did for me....

I was interested in "Dream Walking" because I have always been impressed with the depth of spirit and insight of the author. I was not disappointed. "Dream Walking" offers a process for a deepening spirituality and a more intentional connection to God. It certainly would provide an excellent resource for individuals, or a group of Christian women. And, it would be equally helpful to men. The insights from the author's personal life are helpful and increase the power of her teaching. The workbook format would be helpful to anyone wanting to move deeper into spiritual life.

I am grateful to Donna Rose-Heim for providing this resource. Her book has many gifts for the church and for individuals. May God grant us an openness to receiving those gifts.

There are times in your life when you become aware that life is short & you're stuck in the small things that bring no joy. You wake up & ask yourself "is this it, is this the way life is meant to be" The answer is a resounding NO and this book has helped me realize that God intends so much more for me, for all of us. The book includes reflective questions to get you thinking about how scripture applies to you, today, then at the end of each days reading the author asks us to journal. I have found that listing the things I rejoice in, what I hear God saying to me in the daily scripture reading, Faith & visualization statements, what God & I are dreaming about and the things I commit to do today as steps toward acheiving my dreams are very helpful tools to keep me focused on the good stuff. Sometimes it is way to easy to let the negative get in the way of all the great things we have in our life. For anyone out there wanting to reconnect with their spiritual walk or to take it one step farther, this is a wonderful tool, full of real examples from the author of how difficult it is for all of us & yet so easy if we just let go & let God!Dream Walking

As women most of us can relate to the author through her victories, trials, and the juggling act of playing so many different roles in life, (Wife, Mother, Friend, Career Woman, House Keeper, Chauffeur, Counselor, etc...). She reminds us that through the hustle and bustle of life we need to stop and smell the roses, so to speak, to take time out every day to focus on our dreams. She inspires women to step outside of the box and take a leap of faith in Dream Walking with God.

What's more, with the Daily Prayer Journal and Interpreting the Dream at the end of each chapter, we answer questions and look introspectively at our current situations and decide how we can improve or increase our personal success. Interactively, the reader can chapter by chapter, find parallels between the stories of the Bible and how they apply to our lives today.

I genuinely see Dream Walking as a treasure to every book shelf. It has helped me and my family, including my Mother and my daughters grow spiritually closer to God. It has reminded me to remember God and his abundant blessings. It has encouraged me to never give up on my dreams even when life presents its many obstacles.

In one passage, the Author says: "For when you and I really dream of something, we become an active part of the realization of that dream. We begin to act, feel, trust, and work as though it is true. We make the dream real first in ourselves and then we help to create it in others"

She not only invites us to focus on our own dreams, but, she inspires each of us to share our dreams to bring encouragement and blessings to others in our lives. Dream Walking will undoubtedly renew your spiritual energy and create a greater desire to reach your dreams through a closer walk with God.

I attended a workshop by the author at a church Women's conference. This book was reccomended and having read it, I have gotten a lot of inspiration to use it both in my womens group and in worship.
