I heard Lara on a movie I was watching (while credits listing). It was probably this song. Her voice captured me, and for me that is amazing!! I sang professionally for 20 years, and besides Mariah Carey, nobody has captured me like Lara. I couldn't find an album with this song, so I had to download 5 .wav pieces and edit them together to get a recording of this song.

After hearing her, I searched for any other recordings by her, but only found the one recorded in 2000. I purchased three sides from this album and eventually purchased the album.

I've heard her compared to Celine Dion, but although I like some of Celine's recordings she's no match for Lara - Lara hits every note right on pitch and in perfect tone quality. I want to see more mixed albums by her - like Josh Groban does. And, I'd love to hear a duet with Lara and Josh - the two most hypnotizing voices I've ever heard!!!

Two of Lara Fabian's finest songs, hauntingly beautiful - but a very very short CD for the price. Why couldn't they have filled out this CD with a full hour of music instead of leaving 80% blank?

How can one possibly say goodbye to a star of this magnitude? Lara is marvelous in The Dream Within, the ending theme for the Final Fantasy movie. It suits her, for the song talks of the dream we harbor inside, the one that we need to let out and allow to flourish. But I'm biased. The real gem for me, is Before we say goodbye. It's my favorite Lara song! I tell you, I shiver every single time I hear it. It's so... simple. And that's why it's beautiful. The lyrics are so touching and reflect someone deeply in love, someone who just can't say goodbye to the loved person.
