Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

This book was recommended to me by a colleague, an editor at Ballantine Books who thinks the world of THE DREAM WORKBOOK. I have a strong interest in dreams and have read my share of books on the topic. What I enjoy most from this book is that it really is aimed at empowering the reader to take charge of her dreams, and in so doing, take charge of her life! It provides very practical tools for getting grounded within the ethereal dream world. The instructions for drawing your dreams, looking at your hands in your dreams to learn to pay attention to details, and navigating flight while dreaming are entertaining and useful. I recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about themselves through dream interpretation. I put these tools into use before even finishing the book!

5.0 out of 5 stars FINALLY REPRINTED!!!, June 15, 2002
THE DREAM WORKBOOK presents 29 very useful exercises to decode
your dreams. Morris presents different approaches to dreamwork -
Senoi, Jungian, Gestalt, Iroquois, Freudian - as well as
different methods - re-entering dreams, creating a personal
symbol dictionary, free-association, self-hypnosis, lucid
dreaming - just to name a few!
Dr. Morris focusses on using dreams to problem-solve and as a
springboard for creativity pointing out that dreaming itself is a
creative activity. I have used the techniques in this book to get
through writer's block with success and recommend it highly.
A smooth and interesting read that will make you want to start
a dream group with your friends.
